Some of us don't respond to every know-nothing blowhard on the main bored, Sally. Welcome back they are in the playoffs. They fall into a trap in which they say week after week they will ignore the posts. Yes you are a fair weather fan. I guess bumping everyone of my posts after they are in the playoffs makes you feel good. Have they not made the playoffs I would assume you would become the Ravens fan you have always wanted to be. After all they do have a Super Bowl trophy.

They were his third favorite team this year. Now that they've been disapointing, he hasn't proclaimed who his new team is. I'm guessing San Diego, but knowing what an asspipe he is, he might wait until the playoffs are over to say.

Mackgee 0 Posted December 31, 2006 "Hi I am Gomm99 I am Eagles fan..........On gameday I paint my entire body Eagle Green and slip on my tight fitting size 64 T.O. jersey man I love that guy. I am currently employed as the backup mascot to Swoop. I cheer each time he tweaks a hammy or lays on the turf motionless. I also have another interesting aspect about me I do not celebrate veterans day because no one cares if they serve and what they have done to make this country a safer place. I do however celebrate Veteran Stadium Implosion day. So for the last two years on March 21st I go to the site of the Vets implosion and hold a candlelight vigil. I feel that the Vet had such a great family atmosphere and we treated other fans with alot of respect so it deserves respect. Ok on to more pressing matters, a few days before kickoff I go to the stadium parking lot to cook brauts with homeless people and watch reruns of the 1949 championship season. Brauts are my spelling of bratwurst...man Americans have ruined the english language. I also suck on some polish sausage....me and Jaworski are really close. I then go and greet fans from other teams that show up and explain to them how the Eagles will lose with my big Kool-aid smile. They look at me kind of funny, but I share a braut and it's all good. See I played Division 1 football as a backup kicker so that makes me more you know football intelligent. Well it's almost game time and I enter the Linc through the backup mascot entrance and once I get in I see Swoop. I just want to punch him in the face. I can just imagine me on the field, the smell of freshly cut grass, big sweaty men playing football looking at me in that hot suit. That would make me all warm and fuzzy . As I sit and watch swoop run all around that field I start talking to myself about the good old days of the Eagles you know the late 1940's if they played now we would dominate go Eagles. Well thats all for now I am hoping Andy Reid has open tryouts next year I'm there."

GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted November 5, 2007 looks like some early packing will be in effect this season..... No doubt. Dallas walked in and handed the Eagles their azzes last nite. As an Eagle fan, what's really disconcerting is that for all the talk about the troops rallying around Andy and his family, they really came out weak and unprepared. Case in point: Kearse and Darren Howard collectively make about $500k a game. What was the ROI on those investments last nite? 0 sacks, 0 tackles. What I don't get is that the Eagle's offense had some traction early in the first half picking on the one corner in a 2 WR set, but Reid and MM abandoned that plan, went 3 wide, and the offense disappeared. I'm sick and focking tired of hearing Reid say after the game "I should have had this team better prepared for this game". That's what he says after every game. If that's the case, he's not doing his job. Take nothing away from the Cowboys, they are the better team. I digress. I said before the season that the Cowboys' offensive line was still going to be an issue. It's an issue alright. An issue for the opposition to deal with. No excuses. Dallas is the better team today and the Eagles aren't very good.

49ers_suck 0 Posted November 5, 2007 Eloquent posts and everything else aside, I am totally pissed at the Eagles. They should have been able to win that game. The D did their job, McNabb lost the game (let's see, 3 int and thorowing up on the field) That does not instill confidence for the offense. Their done..... i gotta disagree here. the Cowboys came into philly and dominated every aspect of that game. even if mcnabb doesn't throw those INT's Cowboys still roll. Romo was very impressive last nite, minus that bad throw to Crayton that was picked. when Witten lost his helmet and kept goin is my favorite play of the season so far. if that kinda shite doesn't get you pumped you must be dead or and eagles fan. 7-1 bring on the G-men! GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted November 5, 2007 Bill Cowher. Eff Bill Cowher. How about Jason Garrett? IMO, for what he's doing for Romo, he can do the same thing for Kolb. As much as I love McNabb, I think his time in Philly is over. He's got some still left in the tank, so trade him to and AFC team for a draft pick at least ($9 mil against the cap next year). I sent the following in an email to my buds earlier this morning: Yes, it's time to dismantle this team. The following player should be shed from the roster at the end of the season: Jon Runyan LJ Smith Donovan McNabb Thomas Tapeh Jevon Kearse Darren Howard Takeo Spikes Brian Dawkins Correll Buckhalter Sean Considine Montae Reagor Reno Mahe Greg Lewis Andy Reid and Jim Johnson A lot of these guys are getting very hefty paychecks. All of these guys are overpaid for what they're producing. A lot of them are stealing money. As much as I think that Andy Reid is a good coach, he's no longer a good fit for this team. Blow the whole thing up, make trades for draft picks and start over NOW. The real Eagles fans will still go to the games as long as the organization is willing to admit the window's firmly shut and the team is going to rebuild PROPERLY. IMO, Reid and Johnson's schemes/systems were successful at one point, however it looks like you need more than a good system to win in today's NFL, especially when the rest of the division/conference has gotten better. Talent wins ballgames, not the WCO and zone blitz. I love McNabb and I think he can still play, but they need to start over. Trade him to a team in the AFC at least (Baltimore Ravens anyone?). As a coach, give me the guy who beat them badly last nite: Jason Garrett. He'd be the perfect coach for Kevin Kolb.

Talk on local radio today here in Nashville about him and how it does not seem he is really a good fit for Johnson's defense. That that scheme is not as big on utilizing the speed rush on the end and outside which is Kearse's strength. Also they think this is his last year there...any comment? GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted November 5, 2007 Ghost...on Kearse.Talk on local radio today here in Nashville about him and how it does not seem he is really a good fit for Johnson's defense. That that scheme is not as big on utilizing the speed rush on the end and outside which is Kearse's strength. Also they think this is his last year there...any comment? He's 240 pounds. He gets no leverage on the edge rush. The least he could do if he's not getting to the QB is collapse the pocket, and he can't do that. He's gotten it done in the past with his quickness off the ball. He's not that quick anymore, and it really shows that he's never really worked on his technique. I'll put it to you this way: between Darren Howard and Kearse, they collectively make $530k a game. Last nite, 0 tackles and 0 sacks from the both of them. Kearse will be cut the day after the season is over. It's not his fault that he blew his knee out last year, but it is his fault for not keeping weight on and for not improving his game (at least from a technique standpoint). He would be better off playing LB at this point in his career (or end in a 3-4 scheme).
