nycbadger 0 Posted October 24, 2006 So how long does this last for? Stallworth returning anytime soon. I'm curious, if traded what do you think his RB worth is?
MikieV101 0 Posted October 24, 2006 I would equate him to a Warrick Dunn or Ronnie Brown That being said, I would not trade him away unless I had some solid WRs in his place. I don't care if Stallworth is back or not, Brown will still get his. Mcnabb will continue to throw and Brown's numbers will continue to grow IMO.
cp429 0 Posted October 24, 2006 I am frustrated that I cant turn this guy for anything. He is currently 6th best receiver in PPR league but he isnt getting that level of respect. He will definitelty outscore alot of the lower tier backs but I think people are so worried for Stallworth cutting into the production, they want to stay away. Looking at in game footage, I dont even think this is a comparison, Reggie Brown actually makes quite a bit of tough plays. Meanwhile, Stallworth's big games were attributed to 2 slips on TD bombs. I guess I am forced to ride out there with this guy but cant update by running backs.. I guess it depends on the league, but the value really lies on the owner of this guy I imagine. Either way- he is line for 60 catches,1100 yards, and 11 touchdowns at this pace, but considering this guys nice to start to the career and the throw happy eagles, it could happen.. seadog54 20 Posted October 24, 2006 If Stallworth comes back.... I think it'll only benefit Reggie Brown. The coverage will be spread open with Stallworth in the line-up. I also think the Eagles know that he is their future #1 WR, not Stallworth. Stallworth will get cut at the end of the year. The first two games that Stallworth played, Brown still got a TD in each game. So, he'll get the looks... especially now that McNabb is more comfortable playing with him for a longer period of time.... he'll turn to Brown more often. Nate Burleson's Burly Son 0 Posted October 24, 2006 I'm deep at WR and thin at RB. Traded Reggie Brown late last week for Travis Henry. Fair market value, if you ask me.
nycbadger 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Bump... Anybody else have any thoughts on Reggie's worth? Stallworth back this week apparently. What RB = R. Brown?
ggroovy17 0 Posted October 27, 2006 I don't think you'll get someone's #1 or #2 RB for Brown, maybe like Dunn, D.Foster, R.Bush. It all depends on another team's needs, but you really won't get true value for him.
16 and 33 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Even though he was a 2nd rounder out of a BCS school, and he's had great production (TDs the 1st 2 games and the last 3, nice consistency), the perception is he's a Tier 3 receiver who benefits from having a great QB in a pass happy offense. Everyone thinks Stallworth is the stud (when healthy) even though both had good games when they played together the first couple weeks. I don't think you will get true value for Reggie. nycbadger 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Is Julius Jones unrealistic?
JediMaster 20 Posted October 27, 2006 Amazing how R. Brown has the best fantasy qb and a top 3 qb in the NFL and still gets NO respect. Reggie Brown is good and no one sees it. I'm glad I have him in my keeper league
RS79 0 Posted October 27, 2006 So, if you own both Brown and Stallworth - who do you start?
usurpers26 26 Posted October 27, 2006 Brown - you can't start Stallworth until he can prove that he's healthy enough to contribute. So, if you own both Brown and Stallworth - who do you start?
FeelingMN 273 Posted October 27, 2006 I've tried trading him, along with Jacobs for either T. Henry + J. Feely....no deal. Another proposal was these two for F. Taylor + E. Kennison....no deal. I've stressed he's a top 5 WR on a very good passing offense. Other owners refuse to pull the trigger. Amazing.
usurpers26 26 Posted October 27, 2006 Do you really need that much help at RB? I wouldn't move Brown for either of those guys... I've tried trading him, along with Jacobs for either T. Henry + J. nycbadger 0 Posted October 27, 2006 I'm very fotunate to have some solid WR's Holt, R. Brown, H. Ward, Colston. My RB's are crap w/Henry, Maroney, Addai, Rhodes, Perry (traded Caddy for Maroney early...ooops). I can't package Brown and a RB for a more solid RB!!! He's the #2 WR in my league behind Holt and nobody wants him....FRUSTRATING!
cp429 0 Posted October 27, 2006 My thinking is when he has a good week with Stallworth in the lineup, the value will be there. I think their should be some uncertainty just b/c of the excellent weeks [on paper] that Stallworth had. He really was wide open for his 2 long td receptions, really just bad coverage. Stallworth wasn't good in New Orleans, with or without hamsting issues, so I am not sure why people were so crazy about him. Brown makes a big play every game and it may even be unwise to deal the guy unless you can get a very good running back. In regards to trade value, I am high on Travis Henry, so I would do a deal like that, but I dont think many receivers are as valuable as a guy like Ronnie Brown (he should be considered middle Tier 1). I would say even after this week, Brown Sellers will only be able to get a lower 2nd tier RB at best..

cp429 0 Posted October 27, 2006 I was trrying to do the exact opposite = Reggie Brown for Addai- This is a 14 team league and this guy is starting Rod Smith. But he seemed to believe that Addai was so much more valuable. Really depends on the league size you are in with the dirth of solid runners this year. Yeah, I think Addai is fair market value.....even though he's emerging as the #1, I had LT and Portis, so he was always on the
Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted October 27, 2006 Before Stallworth got hurt. Reggie Brown's numbers were very average. Stallworth will be back this week so many expect Brown to be back to what he was doing before stallworth's injury.
skinsfan81 0 Posted October 27, 2006 I couldn't move Brown to save my ass so I decided to move Coles instead and got Carson Palmer for him. I'm hoping Palmer turns it around. I think Brown will be steady. He was steady in my ppr league prior to Stallworth getting hurt and since the Eagles pass alot Brown will continue to produce.
