Trade Help

I am currently 4-4 in a 10 man league. I am in 5th and the top 4 make the playoffs.

 

We start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, TE , K , Def, IDP

This is my current team:

So I have been offered two trades.

1) T. Jones for Brees

2) A. Green for J. Walker

 

Should I take one, both, none and why?

I wouldn't do the Jones for Brees trade. You have Favre and that's good enough. I might do the trade for Ahman Green depending on how much longer Alexander will be out. If he's coming back soon forget it. If he's still out for a few more weeks, pull the trigger.

stand pat, you don't need the help at qb, and with alexander returning this week, you're sitting pretty at rb. if reports come out that he isn't going to play this week, you may have to look into getting green to cover your ass.

Dont do Brees trade. I would do the Green trade. Instant upgrade at RB (green is playing muchy better), and you don't know how SA is going to come back, plus you still have 3 viable WRs.

If you can I would make both trades. The first gives you a great QB 1 and the second gives you depth at RB that you lose with Jones. I really like how your team looks if both of those go through. Then you can try and move Favre while he has been playing solidly.

2) I would keep Walker. Trading away Walker will leave you rather thin at a WR position. I won't see Bryant as an everyday starter.

 

 

So, to summarize, reject both trades.

I think you're good enough as is. SA's out for another week, but TJones and Gore will help you out quite nicely in a 10 team leaague.

First one I wouldn't do. Second one I'd really think about. Green is a solid RB, has an easy schedule during the typical playoffs for FF.

I would not trade for a QB.

 

The second one I would do. Alexander may not be back week 10, and even if he is, how good will he be?

 

With Morency out for 2 weeks Green will be getting almost all of the carries. Trade for him and try and get WR help from the waiver wire.

Thanks for the reply. I agree with . There are too many question marks for you that could hurt you dearly, but could also payoff as the season dwindles down. No need to take this now.

I wouldn't do either. Brees over your other QB's isn't that much of an upgrade in my opinion. The 2nd trade isn't a bad offer, but with Jones and Gore, I think you are good until Alexander comes back. Also, Green is always a big time injury risk. Keeping Walker leaves you pretty stacked at WR. It also helps being able to play Colston at TE.

i say, do them both. i dont trust walker that much with plummer passing the rock, so i feel like youd be ok starting evans or bryant, and ahman is looking like a good RB. and if you get another RB, why would you need jones? go ahead and trade him for brees.

 

you could also stand as you are i guess, its a tough call. dont just do one of the trades though.

i would just stay with what u got right now, u don't need brees cuz u already have favre and kitna is a good fantasy backup when the matchup is right.

Trade A would not help. Trade B could help depending on the health of Alexander. I would probably stand as you are, unless you are dying without SA.

I would do both or none. A. Green is red hot and Brees is better than Kitna or Favre right now. T. Jones is sat as the Bears continue blowing out everyone.

A little wrinkle came in.

 

I was offerred Boldin for T. Jones. I countered with Lundy/A. Bryant for Boldin.

If I get boldin, then should I trade Walker for Green?

 

Is Boldin good for Jones?

I say stay where you are dump them both. that trade does not really help you and you need more help at QB than anything. sit tight, Brees is not as valuable as Jones and the other trade is silly.

Neither of the trades. Between Kitna and Favre one of them will have a big game every week, you just have to decide which one will. Since you play 3 WR and just 2 RB, you are going to be set once alexander comes back so dont give up any depth at wr.
