Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 7, 2006 If I can get 8 to 10 people I'd consider it. Since it would basically be a manual scoring type deal, I would ask that everyone keep up with their own point totals, so it would be an honor system type deal. No head to head competition, rather a cumulative point scoring league. Draft would have to be pretty quick (Sunday at the latest). Details: 10 rounds Lineup consists of a starting 5: 2 Backcourt Players (Backcourt consists of either a PG or SG) 3 Frontcourt Players (Frontcours consists of SF/PF/C) 1 Point for each point scored 5 point bonus for scoring 20 points or more 1 Point for each rebound 5 point bonus for having 10 rebounds or more 1 Point for each assist 5 point bonuse for having 10 assists or more 1 point for each steal 1 point for each block Lineups would be due by Sunday nights at 8:00 PM EST for the following Monday through Sunday games. Rosters can't be changed once the deadline passes. Free agent pickups on a first come first serve basis, but can't be used until the following week. In other words, if you pick up a player on Monday, you can't use him until the following week. If you pick a player up on Sunday at 7:00 PM EST, he's eligible for your next lineup submission that is due by 8:00 PM EST that night. League would run until conference tourneys begin. Some teams might play more games than others, so you'll have to factor that in as well. Anyway, just thought I'd try to garner some interest. Again, everyone would be responsible for keeping up with their points and I'd keep a running total posted by Monday evenings for games played the previous week. If I can get enough interest I"ll see if Mike would be willing to set up a board for us. Any questions let me know...
Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I'm in. I knew you'd be in, you Randolph MOrris loving biotch. If we can get 8 people to play that would be a good amount.
DanXIII 8 Posted November 7, 2006 I'd be interested if we have our own board for it.

You can take Tyler Hansbrough and shove him up your ass. The Tarheels are a soft bunch of puzzies. I'll try to get some more people to join

Ronald Steele is a focking stud though and him alone makes Bama a tough team.

Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 7, 2006 The Sooners have an unproven coach as well, plus they lost a lot of their talent from last year. I'd be shocked if they made the tourney. Steele is a great player, but he couldn't hold Rondo's jock.
DanXIII 8 Posted November 7, 2006 What if two guys want the same player? Is there a floating waiver priority? Also, do you happen to have an excel spreadsheet set up for scoring already?
Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 7, 2006 What if two guys want the same player? Is there a floating waiver priority? Also, do you happen to have an excel spreadsheet set up for scoring already? I'll go with first come first serve. I think there will be so many players that it shouldn't be a problem. Whoever posts it first on the board (if we get a board) will get that player. Also, I haven't set up any kind of spreadsheet as of yet. I'm asking each of us to tally up our points for the week and post it on the board. Since this is going to be a manual deal I don't know if I'll have the time to total everyone's points. I will track everyone's team in Excel though.
DanXIII 8 Posted November 7, 2006 Any bench players, or is our starting 5 it?
SUXBNME 1,503 Posted November 7, 2006 So, TarheelBoy.. How hard did you laugh yesterday when you saw my starting lineup? (Fearsome Foreskins) Were you worried? Scared? I think I got the all time lowest point total in the history of FF.
Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Any bench players, or is our starting 5 it? We'll draft 10 players, but the scoring for each week will be on the starting 5 you submit. So, TarheelBoy.. DanXIII 8 Posted November 7, 2006 Bump...let's go people. The Sooners have an unproven coach as well, plus they lost a lot of their talent from last year. I'd be shocked if they made the tourney. What sucks is that whoever did Bama's schedule for this season probably thought that NC State, Notre Dame and Oklahoma would be decent at the time the schedule was drawn up... Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 9, 2006 we can use the homer board, I'm a mod there If we could get 4 more people that would work. We really need to have the draft by tomorrow night though. Sunday would be the absolute latest becasue most everyone starts playing next week. A lot are playing this weekend.
