I'm not as into baseball as I used to be, but are the Diamondbacks really a Randy Johnson away from being a contender? They strike me as a team that would be better off investing in youth.

As a Yankees fan, I have to say thank God. From what I understand, the D-backs don't think this makes them a contender. What this move does is bring some fans in and some credibility to their pitching staff. He's a 5 times Cy Young winner, and he'll get his 300th win with them.
