Voltaire 5,538 Posted March 10, 2007 Regarding the three links: The first was a generic puff piece of head-in-sand misrepresentation and half truths for Bush fans leading up to the 06 elections. The second was interesting, I agree that the media generally has a left wing slant. I don't think it's deliberate, I think they try to be objective and it's more accidental. This Mark Halprin guy sounds like a conservative in a liberal environment. Same situation with... The third with the NYU students. They went to college in a bastion of liberalism so they've got to expect they're gonna get inundated with lefty instructors. The two girls don't trouble me so much, just PC police stuff. The first girl needs help telling a relevant story. The other two are much better. The boy though he raises two good examples with his Arabic teacher seems to cross the line a bit much and the story at the end, of the kids friend who's teacher wanted the class to attend a political rally and penalized students who didn't participate sounds very troubling if true.
