Anyone use Hotwire?

Recommended Posts

Moving to Melbourne Fl this fall and booking a week in August to find an apt. My travel agent found a Day's Inn for $76/night (I don't care that much where I stay). Hotwire is showing a 4 star hotel for $79 on the beach. Trouble is, they won't show me where it is and it may be 30 miles from where I expect to be apt searching.

Anyone had an experience with them?

No. I plan on renting for a while anyway. Bu, hurricanes are not much of an issue in that part of Fl.

Good luck, even though you may not be on the coast its a b!tch trying to get coverage right now in any part of the state. Many companies have or are in the process of pulling out completely.

Melbourne is on the Atlantic coast. I could replace all my stuff for about $15K anyway so I am not really worried.

Wisky.

Oh yeah, I am licensed in both WI and Fl and if you're finding something that is only double you're doing pretty good.

I am an agent. Do you know if Fl has license reciprocity with WI?

2 best were Safeco and Hartford. That's as much research as I'm going to do right now. Currently with West Bend, cheapest by far and you get 5% back if no claims.
