So I was watching SportsCenter the other night and they were showing BoSox highlights...

...and at one point in the game there was a foul ball over by the 3rd base side. The BoSox player was making his way over towards the stands to make the catch when some dumbass BoSox fan tried to make the catch.

 

The player on the BoSox couldn't make the play b/c of this fan's interference. The fan muffed the catch and didn't get the ball. Plus, the fan and his buddy ended up spilling beer all over the place.

 

But the best part was when another BoSox fan a couple of rows back threw his pizza at the guy!

 

Yes, as the doosh in the first row prevented the BoSox player from making the out another fan threw his slice of pizza at the guy and hit one of them right on the shoulder/back of the neck in disgust.

 

Did anyone else see this? It was crassic.

yeah I saw it on youtube earlier(short version). WTF was pizza boy thinking - guy in front row actually saved an out. Mebee pizza boy had a hote date and wanted the game to hurry up since it was 7-1 that point in time.

A few rows away, Madore and buddy Danny Kelly beamed. It turns out Sole had given them grief about having a large pizza in the stands just moments before the at-bat. He wanted to know where they got it.

 

“He turned around and said something like, ‘Your mother,’ ” Sole said.

 

“No,” interjected Ho. “He said, ‘The pizzeria.’ ”

 

Either way, all parties were annoyed.

 

“They had been giving us (expletive) about it,” Madore said. “Next thing I know, there’s a fly ball to left field and it goes foul and my buddy says, ‘You want some pizza now?’ And he hits him right in the face. Hey, the guy wasn’t paying attention. When you’re in the stands you’ve got to be ready for anything - a foul ball, a flying slice of pizza, everything.”
