For the upcoming Simpsons movie a bunch of 7-11's got redone as Kwik-E-Marts. They got the full Simpsons treatment...Kwik-E-Mart signs, the Slurpee machines have been covered up to become Squishee machines...you can even buy stuff like Buzz Cola and Krusty-O's cereal.

 

They have them in Bladensburg, MD; Burbank, CA; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Henderson, NV.; Los Angeles; Orlando, FL.; Mountain View, CA.; New York City; and Seattle, WA.

It's going to be an average simpsons episode stretched out to 90 minutes.

So no, i'm not going to see it.

 

But I think that is really good advertising though, mmmm squisheee

well, to each his own but to me it seems like this movie is about 15 years too late. also, i just don't see a show like the simpsons needing a movie push the envelope...i mean, it's not like southpark where they need an R rating to get their jokes in.

Maybe, but I did just vote for my hometown of Springfield, NJ to win USA Today's contest and host the premiere...even though Springfield, NJ doesn't have a movie theater and I thought their entry was pretty lame.
