davebg 0 Posted July 2, 2007 For the upcoming Simpsons movie a bunch of 7-11's got redone as Kwik-E-Marts. They got the full Simpsons treatment...Kwik-E-Mart signs, the Slurpee machines have been covered up to become Squishee machines...you can even buy stuff like Buzz Cola and Krusty-O's cereal. They have them in Bladensburg, MD; Burbank, CA; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Henderson, NV.; Los Angeles; Orlando, FL.; Mountain View, CA.; New York City; and Seattle, WA. Check out some Flickr photos of the store in Burbank, CA here.

RicemanX 20 Posted July 2, 2007 is anyone going actually pay to see this movie in the theaters? It's going to be an average simpsons episode stretched out to 90 minutes. So no, i'm not going to see it. But I think that is really good advertising though, mmmm squisheee
surferskin 30 Posted July 2, 2007 Hell yeah!! well, to each his own but to me it seems like this movie is about 15 years too late. also, i just don't see a show like the simpsons needing a movie push the envelope...i mean, it's not like southpark where they need an R rating to get their jokes in. davebg 0 Posted July 2, 2007 is anyone going actually pay to see this movie in the theaters? Maybe, but I did just vote for my hometown of Springfield, NJ to win USA Today's contest and host the premiere...even though Springfield, NJ doesn't have a movie theater and I thought their entry was pretty lame.
