Brace yourselves;it's HERE ... 4 MORE SONGS TO LISTEN TO!

Recommended Posts

Listened to song number 4, and I have to say -

This is the best Rustor McFuckstor album I think I have ever heard.

Although, Shark Dance and Million Tire Man are among my favorites...these four songs are good, I hope that it's not like a movie trailer when they only show you the good parts and the rest of it is the absolutely biggest SUCK ever.

Is that you singing on Savage?

Everything is me.

:dunno:

Savage is about a couple of folks I know who got into some trouble when the chick's crazy Latino husband found out about the affair.

Also, that's Aunt Beth.

ROWYCO <_<

What equipment are you using to record with?

A POS Fostex digital eight-track with all kinds of functions that don't work worth a crap.

I record it with the Fostex and then download everything into a computer Cakewalk program for enhancement purposes.

I'd record it straight into the Cakewalk - which would sound a lot better - but then I'd have to move drums and stuff around.

It's a hobby. Hell, Shark Dance through The Upper Lease represent only half the songs I've got.

:dunno:

I'm waiting on some donated stuff to arrive, and then , maybe with Cdub's help, I'll start mass-producing and mailing.

Also, I was angry regarding "Savage." The two love birds created quite a mess.

Don't thank me.

Thank my Yamaha keyboard with all kinds of groovy canned drum beats.

I can play most of the drum parts. However, my drum kit is a POS set I bought from Sam's Warehouse for $188. It sounds like an avalanche of garbage cans. The high hat cymbals sound only slightly better than aluminum pie plates. Also, it's impossible to record great bass drum with my equipment.

So what I do with a lot of songs is use both canned and real drums.

Savage is an example of that.

The high hat cymbals add a real trashy quality to the music, IMO.
