Do you think Brady Quinn is a POS?

Stars hold out all of the time. The first game he throws 300 yards and 2 TD passes, you will have forgotten he held out.

WTF makes him a star? Just because ESPN puts him in sunglasses and a lether coat for draft promos doesn't make him an NFL star.

Dude slipped to the late first round..........deal with it.

Hey, you bestowed the "Star" status on him.

In hindsight that was a poor choice of words. Can we meet in the middle with "high profile"?

If you make a huge deal about how much you want to play for your hometown, how it's your lifetime fatnasty to play for your home team,

then hold out for huge money and refuse to report to training camp

....You might be a dooshbag.

If you get drafted 22nd overall

and demand Top TEN money

...You might be a dooshbag.

I used to think Quinn was just delusional - easy to get that way when you're golden domer, but now I'm seriously thinking that somewhere deep down this kid knows he's gonna suck in the NFL. - Or at least suspects/fears it. The MINUTE he steps into camp, that possibility starts to become a reality. So, he's trying to cash in as much as he can before his potential suckiness betrays him. Get as much guaranteed dough, as long of a contract as possible, THEN become the reincarnation of Ryan Leaf, THEN start your new career selling insurance somewhere in Indiana.

it seems to me he has a decent O-Line, a decent running game, some receiving options so the talent around him seems to be there <_<

How about the charging of 75 bucks for an autograph? <_<

Thanks to your post, I just read about that. I hadn't heard that before. Yeah, there is no "might be a dooshbag" anymore. He officially IS a dooshbag. It's one thing to try to secure the best deal for yourself from a multi-million dollar organization, but charging ordinary fans a MINIMUM of $75 for an autograph when you haven't even taken a focking SNAP is the ultimate in dooshbaggery.

Granted, this MAY have been the arrangment with the store (which in turn paid him handsomely), but if Quinn had any class at all, he wouldn't have gone for the deal. It's bad enough when retired veteran stars do this, but hell, some of them legitimately need the money. - And have PROVEN themselves. This guy's got nothing.

Cleveland was ranked second to last (only beating the hapless Raiders) in total offense last year.

yeah but they drafted joe thomas who I think is going to be a stud, and didn't they add or draft another linemen? I was thinking I had heard somewhere the left side of their line should be pretty stout.

Plus they landed Jamal and I do like braylon...

I have no problem with this guy trying to get as much money as he can. Even if he misses training camp and eventually signs for huge money, they will have to play him because he is making so much. Any of you guys would hold out for more money at you jobs IF YOU COULD. Cleveland was well aware of the fact that they would have to pay him more than a typical 22nd pick. Trust me, they have the cash, but want to see if they can save a little, but they will eventually cave.
