GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted September 9, 2007 Each team's strengths are the matchup: Eagles Offense, Packers Defense. IMO, the Eagle's have more on offense than the Packers have on defense. However (and I'll say this again), I think the Packers will win the game. Why? Too much inexperience on the Eagle defense. Granted, Favre is a shell of his former self, and yes, Jim Johnson owns Favre. And yes, the Packers have no running game. Be that as it may, it will come down to Packer playcalling, running misdirection and keeping those Eagle linebackers thinking and on their heels all game. Now if the Packers run their typical offense, the Eagles could blow them out. In the end, it's Andy Reid being 3-5 in home openers. They haven't been very good in openers, they haven't been very good this preseason. That's all.

donhaas 18 Posted September 9, 2007 that's what they said about the 2003 and 2004 detroit lions. Except the Packers were 8-8 last year. The lions haven't sniffed 8-8 in 40 years New season; same ownage, sampy.

Mephisto 15 Posted September 9, 2007 Greg Jennings is inactive today. Donald Driver will play today. Just saw it on Countdown.
JT 137 Posted September 9, 2007 JT....I believe he is out. Nothing definite yet..... Thanks. He's listed as questionable, so I've scrapped him from that last Flex spot.
Jeremy 0 Posted September 9, 2007 ugh. Greg Jennings inactive. That's not good. I think the Packers can make this a game. Their defense looks to be very good this year and there has been a huge push to make Lambeau Field the homefield advantage it used to be. Still, the Eagles are a very good team. I'm anxious to see what we're made of. Go Pack!
mark32esu 18 Posted September 9, 2007 E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!
GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted September 9, 2007 3 rookie starters on offense for the Packers 3 new linebackers starting on defense for the Eagles (with a combined total number of games played under Jim Johnson of 15 games) I can see lots of sloppy play. Pimptaddy 0 Posted September 9, 2007 What will Eagles fans do if McNabb gets hurt in this game? What will happen in Philadelphia if McNabb tears his MCL? As a Cowboys fan, I would love to see the look on their Santa Clause hating faces if that happens.
