I couldn't resist. Hamilton has been terrible lately with their lack of offense. But they welcome back the most explosive RB in the CFL tonight in Jesse Lumsden, who averages nearly 9 yards per carry. I think this, along with new QB Casey Printers will finally allow Hamilton to get some emotion into their play. Calgary is the hottest team in the league, winning 4 in a row, but I still don't trust a historically bad road team in Calgary laying nearly a TD on the road. Gut feeling play.

 

Started leaning to Tulsa, but talked myself out of it. But it's hard to lay 24 in your first road game of the year. No play.

Hamilton opened the game, driving into the red zone, then fumbled. Calgary 3 big plays. TD. 7-0.

 

The game has settled down after that. Punts by each team on every possesions since. Hamilton is still hanging around. I wish they would give the ball to Lumsden more. He makes things happen with every touch.

Calgary up 10-6. Hamilton forces back to back turnovers near the end of the 2nd quarter, and gets a pair of FGs. Frustrating that Hamilton couldn't get a TD. More frustrating is that Hamilton QB Printers looks like he pulled his hamstring. Gotta get backup Timmy Chang in there.

Calgary up 17-9 at the half. Backup QB Richie Williams looked good in relief of Printers moving Hamilton into FG range with 39 seconds to go. Hamilton looks enthusiastic tonight, and Calgary looks like their old selves on the road.

Maybe. But the good ole days of Hawaii are right now. They are ranked, and might run the table this year. QB Colt Brennan will be the #1 pick in the draft next year. Chang....eh...he was a system QB, nothing special. Still, I'm a bit surprised he is the 3rd string QB at Hamilton, the worst CFL team this year. He got demoted. Yuck.

 

Edit: Don't forget, Casey Printers was in Kansas City's camp, competing with Croyle and Huard for the starting job. There are a bunch of NFL cast offs in the CFL.

hmmm at -10.5 ..you are basically asking if you think OU will score 2 more times than Tulsa. Given that Tulsa made them come back on field and tried to score, i think OU will come back on field with a vengeance.. hahah ok i cant keep a straight face anymore.. please disregard that stupid rationale... but honestly, i think OU will continue to score to improve their rankings. Do i think Tulsa will score again without any run game? sure, maybe 1 or 2. I also think OU will score at least 4 times since they continue to break long games on ground and air. Taking the over for 1 unit each b/c I cant help it. Warning: they are both horrible bets and I'm only listening to some stupid logic that has no basis.
