I've learned many things about specific teams on specific days, one of them being DONT EVAH bet against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg on Thursday nights! Having said that Boston College is a much better team and theyre playing insync right now. Looks like all of you guys are on BC tonight, if ever there was a time where a road team should cover in Blacksburg on a Thursday, this is a good spot getting 3 points I guess.

 

No play tonight, I wont be the least bit surprised if it lands on 3 for a push. Ill be rootin for you bastages to cover with BC, that'll be my entertainment source.

I always ALWAYS look at the weather before I place a big bet...until today. I guess because I didn't hear anyone talking about it, I didn't realize there was heavy rain for 48 hours straight! This could be one of the most careless decisions I ever made and completely kills the momentum I've had this week.

In a situation where it's such a low scoring game, you have consider Vegas doesn't make huge mistakes on lines. I would think the over would hit in the 2nd half, somehow, someway, to approach the game line for the over/under. The value is on the over. However, given the weather conditions, I couldn't really bet on it. Hell, it could end up in overtime for all that we know.

 

My buddy makes a killing at studying opening lines, and betting on value like this for 2nd Halves. Me, I'm more of a gut feeling 2nd half bettor. Unless you consider how I got drunk and played a bunch of 2nd halfs last Saturday for no particular reason. But I digress.

And yes, it's still a stupid bet because there's plenty of time for AFA to blow it. I'm hoping AFA can pick up a few more scores and play some defense so I can middle/hedge, not for greed, but to minimize losses.

Considering the conference, I think that the WAC, MWC, and Conf USA tend to have the highest scoring matchups. It's really risky to bet over/unders in college in general, and that is why I avoid them most of the time. I hit the only one I played this year with the OVER in BC/Bowling Green, but I felt uncomfortable putting it in. I realize that I am rambling.
