Yer mom 2 Posted November 21, 2007 I'll be taking the Jets on Thanksgiving day because im a great big idiot. They beat Pittsburgh so getting 14 points with an AFC team (AFC>NFC) that just beat Pitt, theres no way I wont be taking those points. Good luck!!

Laurence Maroney's Nuts 2 Posted November 21, 2007 After a horrible week last week thanks to that Steelers game, i need a good week... Currently looking at: Jags -7.5 vs. Bills *I really like the Jags with Garrard at the helm Browns vs. Texans over 51 *Brownies are 9-0-1 o/u; Texans are on a weak string of unders/pushes, but are 3-1 (if i recall correctly) o/u on the road. Need to look at this matchup further, as that total is kinda high for my tastes. Hmm. Also, eyeballing the Ravens vs. Chargers under...
Big Blue 06 195 Posted November 21, 2007 After going 3-2 last week, I'm 24-11 for the season (+16 units). My thoughts for the Turkey Day games: Green Bay -3.5 vs. Detroit. I wasn't planning on betting on Thanksgiving, but I like this game far too much to skip it, and I will likely make this one of my bigger bets of the week. Green Bay is AT LEAST a TD better than the Lions, and the wheels are falling off in Detroit. The pack have two good corners and their defense should be able to cause problems for the Lions. Kitna will be on his back more than a $1 prostitute, and Favrah will light up that Detroit defense. I'm going with the Pack here. I like Dallas -14 vs. the Jets, but I don't love it. If it looks like I'm going to win the Green Bay bet (which I think I will), I'll throw some money on the Cowboys. The Jets will likely have a letdown this week, and they won't catch the Cowgirls napping after what happened to Pittsburgh last week. If Indy was healthy, I would be all over them in this one. That said, I'm only going to throw a bet on Indy here if I win the first 2 games of the day. The Colts are definitely 12 points better than Atlanta, but it's hard to say if they'll play like we know they can, or if they'll play like last week. I'll be back on Saturday to post my thoughts for Sunday's games.

Also....OVERS for Browns games on the year 8-0-2 so I will also be on the OVER for this game. I do though like the Texans on the road, their defense is not terrible and with A.Johnson back in the lineup the Texans are a different team and should have the offense to keep up with Cleveland. Packers at Lions (+3) EVEN Making a small play on the home dog here. The Pack are definitely the better team and their offense matches up excellent against the Detroit defense...everything points to the Packers, just going the other way... Colts at Falcons UNDER/41 Like the under in this matchup, Indy is still banged up everywhere and the Falcons don't have much offense anyway.

College and Pro combined since Thursday. Yesterdays card: (Parlayed several different ways) Tenn. Georgia V Tech BYU Auburn Missouri Also was on USC and Green Bay Thursday. Only game I lost was Texas this week. I used to post my picks every week on here, but I had a slow start at the beginning of the year and didn't want to give any bad advice. On the year I'm up over 60 units. I'll start posting again to see if I can help out.

art schlichter's bookie 0 Posted November 26, 2007 I couldn't get onto the website to post yesterday, but ended up having a big day. Thining about taking Rasty Ricky +16 tonight. I think his return could give the Fins a lift and Pittsburgh sometimes plays down to the level of their competition. Also lean slightly to OVER as I think Miami will put up some points and PIttsburgh is always good for at least 24 at home.
swirvenirvin 25 Posted November 26, 2007 Not sure what the O/U is now I thoght it opened around 45, but I guess Pittsburgh just put some new sod in, and has been snwoing/raining all day. If still around 45 I will hope in the under tonight. Ended up with a pretty amazing week at 11-3 with college, and props in NFL

Big Blue 06 195 Posted November 27, 2007 Well, I put in my bet on Pittsburgh this morning, before I knew about the conditions. Dammit. Oh well, I'll have to settle for 4-3 this week, which is especially disappointing given the fact that I was 4-0 and had the Broncos -1. I was already counting that as a win, and me being 5-0.
