Nothing makes a girl regret leaving you more than going out and being the guy she was into in the first place with other people. If you try the mope around routine, she'll pity you when you're around and then make fun of your ass when you're gone. Also, you need to be more specific. Are you trying to get back with her? Or get over her? I'd suggest just getting over some ho who did you like that. Really, go out and catch a game with some friends, have a few beers and flirt with chicks, work on your car (hard with the bad back I guess.), go see some good movies. Just whatever you did before her, only updated. That's the thing that I guess you gotta realize: that you obviously had a life before her and can have an even better one now that she's out of it. Plus, if you can somehow show that your back is hurt, you can tell the story about your b!tchy ex that left you when you got hurt. That's at least good for a sympathy fock from a chick if you've bought her a few beers already. Well see, that is the problem. On the one hand, this girl is obviously a selfish b!tch, because everybody knows that you don't dump someone because they are injured/sick. But on the other hand, she claims that she still likes me and wants to be around me, but just can't bare to see me helpless like I have been. Now, like I said, this is really only the first time I have ever been dumped, but even I know I shouldn't take that bait. Yet, you start to think about the good times and the sex and suddenly you are starting to convince yourself that she really means what she says and you can forgive her and she'll take your sorry ass back. The worst part of all this is that I feel like I'm a needy 14 year old. Well I'm definitely getting focked up tomorrow night...perhaps that will help things. I know five months isn't that long. As I said in the original post, though, I've never been dumped before. That's what brought on this thread...not because it was an especially bad dumping. If it is a "bad dumping" you may well go on a month long bender...hell, some men never come out of the bender after a "bad dumping." I had a buddy who got dumped by this girl and he ended up drinking until he finally had to go to rehab. Fortunately he was able to stop after that and doesn't drink at all now.
