Funny you mention waiting, my same son worked at Dave and Busters during college as a waiter.  At one point he told me "Dad, the GM of this place pulls down a lot of coin, I should do this!"  My response was "yeah, that's bull, and the job sucks on top of it."  I'm happy he got a job which can leverage his tech skills. 

Oh ok, I get it.  Will he stay at home with you guys for a bit once his Texas gig is up? Since he's only a mile and a half away?  Hell, by then, he may be used to living on his own and want to get his own place.

He had his own place here for 6 months prior to the Texas gig, so... he may stay here briefly while he finds a more permanent place, but he for sure likes his own space.  His stuff is all in storage now vs. here, other than a TV which we have at our house.
