Actually, I started an account a few years earlier. My name was Cromartieus, but I didn't post much. I ended up losing my password and regestering.

 

I don't remember any of the class of '99, unless they happened to still be around. I consider 99-2001 to be 'silverbacks', 2002-2005 to be the second-wave, and 2006-2008 to be the rookies.

 

Next Thursday, I'd like to see world's collide and have everyone co-exist.

This may go down as teh Geek Club's version of Camp David.

The inspiration for EOP was this . This was before Redtodd's coming out of the comic closest when his mellow responses to a post were crassic. I even created a 'Redtodd tribute' thread. I realized that an emoticon response was sufficient for 99.9% of posts- so EOP was born.

 

EOP was accepted when BiPolar Bear created his 'Getting to Know EOP' thread. Without that, EOP would have been just another doomed alias. EOP was always there to say good morning , congratulate , and to agree or disagree .

 

EOP enjoyed VikesNation's false accusation of RLLD, Megla's 'quote' manipulation of EOP (which led to the creation of Agent for EOP to Johnnie Cochran his defense) and to Remote Controller's suggestion that EOP give advice on the help board.

 

But like all aliai, EOP become stale. EOP's desire was to make it to 1000 posts. EOP gave a wordy post on that 1000th post where he committed board suicide. But with the faux EOP and EOP, jr. and other 'only posters' around, EOP occasionally returned. I became lazy and bored with EOP, and when Bonky outed me, I knew it was time to past the keys to EOP on.

 

I selected a known but not too controversial poster....little did I know that poster was an alcoholic gambler. Soon after the torch passing of EOP, the board crashed and during that time the new handler got caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar. When the board returned, that user ID was banned.

 

Soon after the board's return, whether with another new handler or with the banned geek controlling EOP, apparently EOP posted porn (so I am told) and was banned, too.
