But yeah Tenn was another one, one of those that also looked like a sucker bet Do you think early spreads like these are the simple fact your fair weather football fans take a little longer to recognize the changing trends in NFL powerhouses? Some early ones I like: KC (-3.5) over Oak NO (-1) over Was GB (-3) over Det Buf (+5.5) over Jac Atl (+7) over TB SF (+7) over Sea Den (+1) over SD Course, some of these come off as sucker bets to me perhaps...i cant understand how seattle is a favorite..but i hope they actually play like one.... but if u are quick to jump on seattle being bad..then dont get too excited about the bills..they wont get a fake fg and punt return td vs the jags..and tampa owns atl, 8-4 in the last 12 including sweeping atl last year by a combined score of 68-10..plus they are great in tampa..id be weary putting money on a rookie qb in his first road start... but i wouldnt put MY money on the niners...they are awful...but again, i cant see seattle beating anyone by 8...so i guess its not a bad choice..i just wouldnt bet on the niners/cards/lions etc... i think gb has beaten the lions 13 of the last 15..since this isnt thanksgiving..i could see gb winning by 4.. i love NO all over wash... den 29-7 vs sd at mile high...and getting a point?...easy money.. I think the Bills are highly underrated this year. They have a very young team and I think they'll do fine this season. Even though Seattle's worse than Jax IMO, I still think Buffalo will either win this outright or at least keep it close enough. These were my 2 wildcard picks for AFC. GreenBay -3 I know they're division rivals and I know it's in Detroit but I really don't see Detroit being able to keep within 3 of Green Bay. Pats +1.5 Favre > Cassell but other Jets < other Patriots. I just really don't see the Jets beating the Patriots. Home or away. With or without Brady. heavy-set 39 Posted September 15, 2008 I told you. 1-2-1 is almost a win in betting. i did substitue Minn for the bengals, so i did have the right side with a team +2 and up 15, but sometines it doesnt work out it really doesnt matter, i was just trying to build my bankroll for tonights lock of the decade.
