Bingo! Wonder and listen2me are dead on. All that matters here is extracting as much money as possible from the books using the info that we either gather ourselves or from others that might have something to add that might be useful. I don't think $epphori$ was being malicious. I just think he was partaking in a little needling because of our difference in opinions on last night's game. No harm done.

 ...just a little hazing between friends, that is all.

As long as you don't try to haze me like the Wisconsin band does to each other, we can remain friends. I went to the Ohio State vs Wisconsin game last week with my friend who is an alum. He has a family member that has an affiliation to the band. One of the reasons that the band got suspended, that the University's Dean keeps referring to as an undisclosed sexual act, is one of it's members got sodomized with a flute. How anyone can misconstrue that as being fun is beyond me.

Going to a big time college football game with no bands involved just isn't the same. I've been to a few games in Madison and they always have a great atmosphere to them, with one of the best student sections in the country, but something was definitely missing this time around. With Ohio State in town it should have been a whole lot more raucous. I went to LSU and love the effect of the dueling SEC bands the whole game, having been to multiple games both at home and away. When the Tiger band goes off at Death Valley it sends all of the LSU faithful into a frenzy. They are an intricate part to the experience. Nothing like it in the world.

According to Sepphoris, Dr Bob is on Louisville but Phillybear denied that. I always enjoy picks from Sepphoris, Phillybear and Big Easy. I agree with you Big Easy. That was one of the worst games I ever watched last night. That 3rd and 24 in the 4th Q killed me as I was on the Clemson side +2.5. How do you give up a first down there? The kid who caught that ball for the first down, Boldin, caught the TD to cover.

Leaning towards Memphis +6.5 right now with the dog in this series being 9-1 ATS in the last 10, with Memphis being 5-1 in the last 6. Also, the Big East is 6-23 ATS in non conference play to date. Maybe a firm indication that they are getting far too much respect as a conference. Still doing some homework though. Who do you like so far, Lurch?

Who do you like so far, Lurch?

It does not seem like there is much of a difference between either team, so with the home team getting points it seems like the place to put your $$$. I do like the under, I can't see it going over 50. I may also put a bit on Memphis if it creeps up to 7.

NCAA YTD: 48-37-5; +27.25 units

CFL YTD: 9-11-1; -5.7 units

NFL YTD: 22-14-1; +13.9 units

Friday

Louisville (-6.5) for 3 units WINNER

Winnipeg (-7) for 3 units WINNER

British Columbia (-4.5) for 3 units LOSER

Adding: British Columbia 2nd H (-4.5) for 5 units WINNER

I've been fading Louisville quite a bit the last 2 years. The same can be said about my fading of Memphis during the same time frame, so worlds are colliding tonight. Basically both were bad defensive teams that have at times been fortunate to cover games last year. More so with Memphis, a team that went to a bowl game last year although statistically they were a below average team. Although an infusion of JUCO talent has helped Memphis this year, they are still a bad team in my eyes.

Louisville first hit my radar this year when they lost to Kentucky. But the team is steadily improving, miles ahead of where they were in that game. Hunter Cantwell is a pretty good QB that was a bunch of young WRs who have been killing his completion percentage. Their offense certainly is improving week by week, rolling up 500 yards against a pretty good UConn defense in their last outing, but turnovers sent Louisville to a defeat in that game. Turnovers are keeping Louisville from being a better team this year, and over the course of a season, turnovers tend to even out, so it's hard to imagine going forward to expect 3 turnovers a game. This is a very balanced offense between the run and pass. Good defense too, especially against the run. Louisville has played tougher schedule, playing Kentucky, Kansas St, and UConn. I've watched 3 Louisville games so far this year.

While Memphis has a comparable offense to Louisville, their defense is over 100 total yards worse, and it looks worse if you watch them. The way Memphis is winning is by forcing turnovers and scoring a bunch of points on bad teams. This is a continuation of last year's fluky success. Sooner or later, that luck runs out, and you can't keep hiding a bad defense by forcing turnovers. It will get exposed at some point, and I am thinking it will be tonight. Sure, Memphis is a home dog on a weekday game, but hopefully everybody is noticing how this week the favorites have finally started to cover the mid week games. Memphis hasn't done much to impress me, coming from behind to beat UAB on a last second FG while giving up over 450 total yards of offense, and coming from behind to beat Arkansas St at home recently. I have to keep fading this bad defense. I've watched 3 to 4 Memphis games this year. Lay the lumber.

Winnipeg and Toronto meet in a game that will most likely determine which of the two teams will make the playoffs, which are 4 weeks away. Winnipeg is rounding into shape after a disastrous start to their season, and playing much better than Toronto, losers of 5 in a row, blown out in 4 of those games, and got lucky with some long TD runs to hang around with BC last week. While Toronto won the first two matchups this year, Winnipeg proved how much both teams fortunes changed by throttling Toronto a month ago in Toronto 39-9. Winnipeg should win by double digits. Toronto is 2-5 SU on the road.

British Columbia is tied to the division lead with Calgary and Saskatchewan coming down the stretch, and need every win possible. Edmonton trails in the standings by just a game. Strong home field advantage, while Edmonton does not travel well. The problem with Edm in this game is that for Ricky Ray to be truly effective, he needs time to hang in the pocket. BC bring tons of pressure, and leads the CFL in sacks and hurries by very wide margins. Doesn't matter to me if Buck Pierce or Jarius Jackson starts. This is the start of a home and home matchup this week and next, so the home team needs to hold serve. Edmonton is 2-5 SU on the road, BC is 5-2 SU at home.

I'm gonna be laying the points tonight. Philly just about said it all, but one thing I'm gonna add is the level of competition that these two teams have played against. Memphis gives up tons of yardage against teams so far this season in which only one is likely to have a winning season. On the other side of the ball, their offense is bolstered for that same reason. UAB, Ark St, Marshall, Rice, and Ole Miss. Louisville on the other hand has a much improved defense and has done it against good offenses..Kansas State, Kentucky, and UConn. This really shouldn't even be a contest.

Louisville -6.5 Winner

Afternoon Gents!!!

Its sorta my b-day. I've been sober for 1 year today. Been tough but the ole lady has been grabbing ankles more and thats most important to me, lol!!

Here are the plays I am currently researching;

Mizzo vs Ok st over 78. I see Mizzo scoring 50 themselves.

I like LSU. I looking at the numbers on a money line play but may end up taking the fg +.

Auburn can't blow out anyone. 17.5 should plenty for Arkansas.

I was recruited by Northern Ill and they should roll. I'll give the 11. They win by 21+.

Oh st isn't 18 points better than any team in the beg ten.

I love South Carolina -2 vs Kentucky. Andre is gone folks. Kentucky really hasn't nothing to work with. Game cocks just sound cool. Plus they got a smelly qb.

Toledo will play Michigan close. 16.5 is too much.

Why is east Carolina favorite at virginia? After WV, Pirates aint done much.

Love Vandy

Also like Ohio @ kent st in a pick em

Lets discuss. Shall we!

Wow. I wish my local did that. You should be able to exploit a book like that quite frequently in present day times with all of the knowledge that is at your fingertips in a moments notice. The last time I saw a local like that, I was he. College days, but that was the stone ages.

I've done a ton of homework for this game tonight and initially was taking a hard lean towards taking the points at home with Memphis. Most of the past series' numbers and the fact that Big East teams might be overvalued by the betting public had me going that way. When I started to realize by crunching current numbers that were more relevent to this year's teams, it occurred to me that Louisville is just a better team all around and they have played better competition so far this year. But I'm just not sure that they should be more than a FG favorite on the road here.

I think I might just take a pass on this one tonight, fellas. BOL to everyone that makes a play.

Wow..I took the over in the NLCS today. Game went over in the 3rd inning. Doesn't get much better than that. :)

damn i almost bet the under on that game...

i made a very small parlay on both games. Dodgers to win, Red Sox to win and Sox/Rays OVER 8.5... not much of a baseball better but it pays 6-1 and i didn't risk much.

Dodgers down 3 but its early still

What the fock are you talking about? Where did you post anything of the sort? You're losing your mind in your delusions.

So, when someone comes over to fock your girlfriend, do you suck his d!ck to prepare him before you go sit in a corner whimpering while he gives your ugly broad a good hard deep d!cking? Then, as you cry, do you lick your lips, savoring the taste of onions that his c0ck left in your mouth. Yummy? When you pay him his money and he leaves, does your broad beat you afterwards to show you who is the boss? Yeah. I thought so.
