You may have gotten a little respect if you would have acknowleged the Steelers "won" the game, period. But no, you start crying about the ref's and blah, blah............I guess the ref's threw those interceptions?

exactly. that kind of behavior is what cheapens the game. it isn't as though dallas did not have their opportunities. it's just like a fighter who cries about a "bad" decision. well, it's the fighter's fault for allowing it to go to a decision. i think the called completion was wrong, but it shouldn't have ever been an issue--wade chose to use his challenges on other things, so they just weren't available.

 

the steelers won.

 

the cowboys lost.

Historically, all the ass-whole posters here revert to bad-reffing rather than admitting their teams lost fair and square. Hell, Faghawker is still crying about the Seattle Super Bowl choke and I hardly even remember when they were even in the game, it's been so long.

that's the thing about real football guys--we can shout and scream all day about our opinions, but at the end of the day, we recognize the integrity of the game. real football guys recognize that there are no ambiguities on the scoreboard. talking about the refs, or artificial crowd noise, or team drama--that's kid stuff. the game of football is about the battle of wills that takes place between the lines.

 

we've fought before, and i'm sure we'll fight again, but the arguments you and i have had are about the stuff between the lines--i respect that.
