NAn 39 Posted August 11, 2004 now i know i made trade last yr for my 6th in this draft with walt. then did a 2 for wheatley. shouldn't that have me at 16 or 17? it's late and i'll try to figure what happened in am, but if anyone does a cursory look and figure what happened greatly appreciated. and to top it off i HAVE NO DEFENSE! can i get a ruling on this? i'm not trying to get over but at least would like a def to give me a shot in matchups. you guys could assign me a defense, i don't care. anyway, i'm tired...whatever you guys decide is fine. NAn 39 Posted August 11, 2004 You're just going to have to wait until waivers opens and then pick up the players you need. if that's the case, that's fine but my point is that how i drafted was still not right even taking into account my trades. looking at it again it happened in the 15th. i made a deal with deadpool for wheatley(costing dp's 15th) and gave up my 15th/17th i think. thing is i have NO picks in 15th...i predrafted wheatley assuming that was rnd15 but actually got him in 16. so i should have at least one pick right? Then, this year to get Wheatley, you gave up your 15th and 17th, bringing you to 15 total picks. ok that sounds right but what i'm saying is i should have gotten wheatley in 15th right? but i had no picks in 15th and got wheatley in 16th. yes... boldin(for last year so doesn't carry over) for 6th...17. wheatley(for THIS YEAR DOES CARRY OVER)for 15th/17th...so 2-1(wheatley) = 1 down...so 16. i'll just deal with it, no prob but right now it's like the '3guys go to hotel and split the cost of room, each pay evenly and have 20 dollars at end' story...i'm just not getting it and trying to figure it out. It is the same as if there was no deal and Nan drafted wheatley last year in round 18 allowing him to keep him this year for a 15. Trade for boldin - loses his 6 outright Trade for wheatley - loses his 15 based on keeper rules. ie. Insert wheatley as 15th this year. If you're saying that you were supposed to have picked at 15.05, which was Deadpool's pick, then either it was in there because of a misprint, or there was a trade that happened last year that I could not confirm and, hence, gave the pick to Deadpool since that was his spot.
