The Official Giants vs America's Team Thread!

Recommended Posts

8 sacks!!!! Does Jacobs,Burress, or Robbins play O-Line? The Giants will lose to Carolina next week as well and limp into the playoffs. Go :pointstosky: some more.

For once, I agree with you. The Giants have some real serious issues on the offensive line. It's been the great play of the line that has gotten them 11 wins this season, and it's been their lackluster effort over the past two games that's gotten them beat.

1 meaningless offensive TD in the past 2 games.

They should be worried.

So by your thinking, genius, if the Cowboys went into tonite's game without Barber and TO, they wouldn't miss a beat?

If the Giants suck, and they're two games up on Dallas, what does that make Dallas?

:pointstosky: :pointstosky:

Hey, you're just mad that Phillys playoff hopes have been diminished with the Falcons and Cowboys victories today.

8 sacks is pathetic or impressive depending on your point of view.

Howeva, don't you think having a running game and wrs getting open would help a QB take fewer sacks? Sorry, forgot that you are yet another idiot homer. My bad.

What happened to Earth, Wind and Fire. We know Earth was hurting, but what happened to Wind and Fire? The Cowboys dominated the Giants tonight. In this case, 8 sacks is impressive. Quit making excuses.

Ghost,

Can't we make peace and agree that both of our teams kicked the Giants a-s?

Agreed, I think this more than just a Jacobs and Burress issue.

Regardless of what Macpimpempire says the Cowboys are a team chock full of talent desperate to make the playoffs playing at home in primetime against a very good team hit with injuries and adversity. If you've ever played football (which I doubt Macpimpempire has outside of Madden on Xbox) you'd know that certain strengths set up your offense. What better strength on offense is there than a 6'4 265lb. RB that dominates opposing defenses?

MB3 is a good RB but no more special than Lynch, Gore, Thomas Jones, Portis, Ronnie Brown, Turner, or any other RB that announces cream their pants over because they don't go down on first contact...which by the way is what a starting NFL RB gets paid to do.

Wait til the playoffs when Jacobs is back to punching people in the mouth and the O-Line is pushing people around again.

We'll see where Dallas is when TO starts whining and crying because Romo is paying more attention to Jessica than him.

Ok, why isn't the O-line pushing people around now? What is wrong with that vaunted G-men defense? Why can't Eli adjust to life without Burress? For gods sake, they let Tashard Choice score a backbreaking touchdown! Good luck

Because two starters were out for the game after the first quarter who will be back and ready for the playoffs? Logic sounds so crazy doesn't it?

Nice run-after-catch T.O.

Your decision to lay down and not take a hit, combined with Barber running like a girl, just earned Dallas a three-and-out.

Also, where's Roy Williams? They traded all those picks for him. Is he still in the league?

You cry more than anyone on this board.

Ok, and Barber was healthy? What about Felix Jones being out for the season? What about Dallas playing their 3rd string RB 80% of this game? What about the Cowboy's LG issues? Hell, what about the media circus surrounding the Cowboys these past few days? Are you telling me Fred Robbins would have altered the course of that game? I thought Ward and Bradshaw would be fine without Jacobs? What about all you Giants fans calling him Brenda? Now since you lose a few you blame the loss on not having Jacobs? Give me a focking break.

Does Romo ever just get-up after a sack? What a focking drama queen.

Interesting how you criticize an NFL QB...when you cry more than anyone here. Have you always been a sissy or what? I'm guessing you were probably raised by a homo or two?

Funny how the Giants and the media claimed that the Gmen were a deep team that played through injuries and did not complain when they lost guys. I wish their fans would do that now. The Giants fans are making so many excuses.

I will give you a million focking dollars if you can find a post where I call Jacobs...Brenda. He's a fantastic RB and unlike those fairweather fans I'll never forsake him. Welcome to my ignore list though...I'll take you off of it when Romo chokes in the playoffs again.

Im goin back to Dallas D against the Ravens next week.....THEY are whats making Dallas what they are right now.

If that O get rolling again, Dallas is gonna be lots of trouble come playoffs.

I kinda hope Barber gets shut down again (I have both him and Choice). I sat choice today for CJ (and made it through luckily), and id love to run him next week over CJ.

So you are going to ignore him and then come out of hiding and talk trash if Dallas loses? Pretty lame. Only punks use the ignore feature. Be a man!

And one thing ive often noticed is that a team whos D is getting stronger as the playoffs arrive does a lot of damage in them....especially a team that has some O to go along with it.

Ill be the first to say that I will want nothing to do with this place if dallas is successful this year in the playoffs (thanks pimpire), but ill still give them props, AND enjoy watching it happen....if they can keep it going.

Stopping the Steelers offense and the Giants without Brenda are not huge accomplishments.

But I'll give them their due. The D won this game......although once agin, Romo tried to lose it.

How did he try to lose it?

Romo went 20-30 for 244 yards and 2 TDs He had no interceptions.

He threw to witten to much! :pointstosky:

No, obviously he is referring to the safety, but im not sure you can pin that on Romo, seems like just as much of a play calling issue to me given the circumstances...

it was 14-8 until garbage time.

the giants need to step it up. but the dallas fans are kidding themselves like this was utter domination. the giants were missing 3 key pieces but failed to step it up as they shoudl have. but my lord, the dallas fans are acting like this was their rebirth as humans.

oh wait. maybe it was :pointstosky:

Hopefully it's a wake up call to Giants. You can't just hit cruise control because you win the division. I give credit to Philly and Dallas for the last 2 weeks, but the Giants are playing with no emotion. They seem to be sleep walking, and thats no way to head into the playoffs. I can deal with the excuses of missing key players, but that doesn't excuse lack of effort and emotion.

I think they wake up this week and play well against Carolina. Getting Jacobs and Robbins back would help. If they don't beat Panthers, than I think this team could be in trouble. If the win, then all is well.

Seriously...do you cry everytime you face any conflict? You cry about the Cowboys on a weekly basis. Not liking a team is one thing. Crying about everything is another---and gets old. Grow some balls little man. Ever think of that? Err...not so much?

Emotion doesn't take care of the blocking assigments up front or pick up the blitz.

Two straight weeks it's been Eli getting hit consistently and the running game being stuffed.

I think the issue is that no receiver on this offense puts any deep fear into the opposing defenses. Teams can defend closer to the LOS.

I don't think the Giants are talented enough to simply turn off and on "the switch".

Riling up losers like Dull-ass Empire is crying? You really need to get a dictionary.

"Crying" would be saying that my team lost because a ref was against them. Crying would be saying my team sucks because they are banged up.

Crying is not saying a guy like T.O. has bad hands or that Romo sucks come playoff time.
