My instincts are the same as Herbert Hoover's were- balance the budget no matter what. Since his solutions didn't work, I admit running deficits are the proper prescription. Unfortunatly, considering I'm such a tightwad on government spending and defender of taxpayer rights, I'm out of my element looking for sh*t to spend money on.

 

Me ... I'd pull out of Iraq immediatly, Afghanistan too even though I believe in that war it's unbudgetable, cut defence spending 50-90%, cut all foreign aid, shrink pretty much all entitlement programs. Although I hate spending money, I'd find sh*t at home to spend money on that provide jobs for folks... tearing down abandoned homes in the inner city, wireless internet access to all urban areas, alternative energy sources. Replace welfare with workfare. Fock bailing out the banks, for anybody that wants a home loan that has a job, good credit and 30% down, I'd lend money directly from the government.

This is as toothless as it gets. It's just a nastygram they'll send to Rush telling him how naughty he is and a chance to register your name on their email list so they can hit you up for money later.

Absolutely not. He may be a raging pr!ck but I will in fact defend his right to be a pr!ck to the bitter end.

 

 

Absolutely correct. I listen to Limbogus, and "I wanna suck off Rush" Hannity pretty regularly because they make me laugh. I am a staunch Dem and I thought listening to them would give me some perspective. They has offended me on so many levels so many times but I'm not gonna cry about it. I take it for what it's worth.

 

They make a living out of creating controversy. That's their shtick. I don't know why anyone would expect them to change what has made them millionaires. I also don't expect Stern to start broadcasting family radio any time soon either. They are who they are. Besides for every 10 minutes of broadcasting you get like 15 minutes of commercials. Its all advertising and self promotion. That's their whole show.

 

But I will defend these idiots rights to say what they will. I'd be more offended at an attack on the constitution than I'd be at anything these tools have to say. Ignore them or listen and boycott their sponsors. Petitions, especially one from the DCCC is just free advertising.
