Well, might as well make an official thread since it's going to happen a lot.

 

use this thread for:

 

To talk about how awesome the Jets defense is and how they destroyed some team.

i don't really think this is needed after 1 week. I would like to see it a few more times, especially against better teams.

 

but I will contribute anyway.

 

 

Darrelle Revis - We traded up to get him in 2007 and he is a top 5 corner. Id say top 2 but I don't want to sound like too much of a homer

 

David Harris - another trade up in 2007 and he is an absolute beast.

 

Bart Scott - bringing him over to pair with Harris has turned out very well so far.

 

Kris Jenkins - if he stays healthy he is one of the best 3-4 NT's in the league. Did you see him manhandle the Texans o-line last sunday??

 

Kerry Rhodes - a good but underrated safety. He is not up to Ed Reed standards but he is good enough to show some of that same playmaking ability for Rex Ryan.

The jets d wont be destroying anyone this week. Might have to start a thread about the Jets D getting negative points when brady torches them with 400 yards and 4-5 TDs.

I'm starting the Jets defense in week 2 over the Tennessee defense. I heard the Jet's corner shut down Moss last year. I am also benching Moss this week. I don't really see the Jet's defense as a real big surprise since they finished 5th in FF defense totals last year. Andre Johnson only had like 30 yards last week at home playing against the Jets.

I actually drafted the Jets Def in two of my three leagues, got them in the last round or two. What a steal!
