da_mane_man 1 Posted October 5, 2009 i was kinda high on him before the season so i ended up getting him in 2 leagues. now it's quite obvious that the raiduhs suck monkey balls so i would drop him quickly ... except for one thing. the giants have given up some good games to RBs this year, and DMC might be more motivated than ever after getting benched. part of me says to keep him one more week and part of me says drop him immediately and NEVER EVER own a player on the raiduhs, bucs or rams again for the rest of this year. Knowsome Bobarino 0 Posted October 5, 2009 I have him in a dynasty league, so I will not be dropping him. That being said, if I had him in a redraft league, I'd probably try to stash him away, but not hesitate to cut him loose if I needed the roster spot. At this point, he's worthless. RoadLizard 73 Posted October 5, 2009 Im wondering why there are any threads devoted to asking about Raiders offensive players. They should have been cut or never drafted a long time ago. They have been an offensive sesspool for several years now and are showing no signs of getting better. JaMarcus Russel is the worst QB ever to play in the NFL and I mean that sincerely. So, yeah, its safe to CUT every focking Raiders player. Do not ever sign any again and dont draft any either. Got it? Good.
c9h13no3 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Last year, the Oakland Raiders had the 10th most rushing yards in the league during the regular season. However, Fargas received 10 carries on Sunday against the Texans when McFadden was on top of the depth chart and healthy. McFadden has a lot of upside if he can win 15 touches per game without worry about Bush/Fargas, but its really disturbing that he laid an egg against the worst run defense in the league. I think I'd hold onto him unless you have some obvious pick ups on the wire (Harrison, Mendenhall for example). Not many players have the upside DMC does. But you certainly can't start him in week 5. GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted October 5, 2009 I guess I listened to Andy Behrens of yahoo who said that McFadden would be a solid RB2 with alot of upside. Andy Behrens also said that Cedric Benson should not even be drafted and that he wouldn't ever start him. Unfortunately, I listened to Andy Behrens. But, I'll be dropping McFadden as soon as another player clears waivers.
Woosters 1 Posted October 5, 2009 This team is so stupid....they should let Bush carry the ball 20+ times a week.....Fargus is a pimp...just like his daddy.....McFadden needs a better OL to make anything happen... Bush gets it done! PS.....Russel really sucks!
DamageIncVacc 6 Posted October 5, 2009 I thought it was just the fact that the defense stacked the box BUT they stack the box against the Rams and Jackson still gets his. Mcfadden needs open space to work then most RB's and there is no open space. I think both Mcfadden and Bush are talented BUT for this team the way it is they need to use Bush more as he can make holes unlike Dmac who needs holes. But on the right team Dmac would be a good runner. Again they need to use him as a WR and work him inopen space where he can put his speed and moves to use. Dmac cant create holes. Dmac is absolutley droppable in redrafts. he will not do much this year. SO is Bush . There is NO raiders player that belongs on a fantasy roster anymore. That includes Miller. Its unfortunate. If they got back Chaz AND got Garcia back then things would open up and they would be fantasy relavent BUT with russell it will not happen. Unfortunate for Miller , Chaz , Dmac and Bush who could be good fantasy options.
hankhawaii 0 Posted October 5, 2009 It's not true that there have been no servicable Raiders the past several years. Justin Fargas put up very decent numbers when he was given the starting role. You can tell just by his demeanor that he has a real hunger to succeed and stand out. Jamarcus Russell and McFadden on the other hand, if you watch any interviews of them, it just smells of laziness, like they've just been handed this lifestyle and don't have to work for it anymore. Or they just don't realize that their past success in college was simply because they were physically more gifted than everyone else, but the NFL is a whole nother level that they have to make a step up to. I would much rather seen Fargas in there than Michael Bush. He just gives it his all all the time.
Tony_Romo_Domination 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Drop him now. He is unstartable. You can never tell when he will have a big game. It is three random 3-4 point games with a 10 point game randomly in there. He got trashed by the worst run d in the nfl . I am done with him

Tony_Romo_Domination 0 Posted October 5, 2009 I say YES - he's out 2-4 weeks. Let him go fellows. this DMAC injury is a gift from the heavens. It gives suffering Dmac owners who were gonna drop him a legitimate reason now. Thank you baby football jesus....

belichick's hoody 0 Posted October 5, 2009 The Raiders play the Giants, Eagles, and Jets in the next 3 weeks. With that offense going against those defenses, I'm not gonna waste a roster spot on either Bush or Fargas. I did, however, offer to trade Beanie Wells for McFadden. Neither of them really deserve a roster spot, but I'd rather roll the dice on DMC since there's not much on waivers anyhow.
