Dashow28 7 Posted October 15, 2009 I know there are a couple topics talking about Mendy/Parker and what's going to happen there, but at this point, what is Mendy worth? What's the most you would give up for him? I was thinking about offering a trade but am having a lot of trouble figuring out his value with all the question marks in the air. One thread has him going straight up for Kevin Smith, I personally think that's crazy and a bad trade for the guy losing Smith. Am I in the minority with that assessment? Same with Calvin for Mendy, that's another one that I think the Calvin owner is jumping the gun a little too quick. I'm just curious if my thought process is along the same lines as everyone else. I'm just curious if my thought process is along the same lines as everyone else. if i owned Mendenhall i would try and trade him before this week If you could some how get a Kevin Smith for him i would consider that a steal. I would shop him around until i got something i needed in return. it is hard to think his value can go up much more unless Parker is out longer. Parker does have a bad injury for RBs(TOE) but Tomlin will probably plug him back in as soon as he thinks he is ready. so sell high Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
R8RMick 242 Posted October 16, 2009 Your question has two different answers, depending on which type of league you play in. If it's a keeper/dynasty, Mendenhall's worth is skyhigh. Parker will not be back next year. But if you are in a re-draft, who knows how much longer FWP's smurf toe will linger. I would say it's worth taking that chance. I just traded Mendenhall and Davis as well, got back Dwayne Bowe and Cadillac Williams. As I've already got Benson riding my bench, Mendenhall was expendable. Benson is actually 5th in my leagues in scoring behind: AP, Brown, CJ and MJD. but you would still have to have a loaded team to have Benson on bench Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
