PsychoBelichickFan 0 Posted November 14, 2009 so if manning and brady make a secret pact to fake injuries, not play, and instead meet up to chat and watch air jordan highlights........ who wins the game if sorgi and hoyer play qb??? lol....yeah, the networks would refuse to air that game. too much lost revenue from not showcasing their stud media darling qbs. Thornton Melon 620 Posted November 14, 2009 I predict the Colts win, 27-24 in another typical close battle. Gostkowski will miss a relatively easy field goal, not necessarily in the closing seconds, more likely earlier in the game.
PATSSOX 22 Posted November 14, 2009 As the game approaches the voting gets closer to where it should be 25-26 i may have said Manning was better QB but i would rather have Brady be my QB on my team The Colts apparently are going to try to not let MOSS be the one that beats them....GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. If they do somehow shut down Moss that means Welker will have a MONSTER game And FFTODAY says to sit MOSS PATS 28 Cots

mzf5c5 0 Posted November 14, 2009 Yeah but that's not an NFL record. And you don't even know if it's 6 or 7 dumb A S S Tom Brady has Playoff win streak, Consecutive Win Streak, Regular Season Win Streak. Fine, here are the NFL records and you are wrong about the 6 seasons with 12 wins as not a record. It is bolded for you. He will extend it most likely to 7 years this year. NFL records Career (individual) Manning holds a number of individual career records: Highest passer rating, season: 121.1 (2004)[173] Most seasons with at least 4,000 passing yards: 9 (1999–2004, 2006–2008)[174] Most consecutive seasons with at least 4,000 passing yards: 6 (1999–2004)[3] Most consecutive seasons with at least 25 touchdown passes: 11 (1998–2008; current)[174] Most games with a perfect passer rating, career: 4 (includes 1 playoff game)[89] Most consecutive games started to open a career by a quarterback (current): 183[175] Most consecutive games with at least 2 touchdown passes: 13 (games 1–13, 2004)[176] Most consecutive games with at least 4 touchdown passes: 5 (games 7–11, 2004)[173] Most games with at least 4 touchdown passes (season, 2004): 6 (tied with 1984 Marino)[173] Most games with at least 5 touchdown passes, career: 7 (includes 1 playoff game)[177] One of only seven QB's with at least 6 touchdown passes in two games (tied with Sammy Baugh, Y.A. Tittle, Daryle Lamonica, Tom Brady, Charley Johnson and George Blanda)[178] Highest career TDs/game average for any QB with at least 150 TDs: 1.89 TDs/game[41] Highest career completions/game average (min. 100 games played): 22.0[179] Most consecutive games with a passer rating over 100: 9 (games 5–13 of 2004 season; record tied by Carson Palmer, 2004–05 and Tom Brady, 2006–07)[180] Highest completion percentage by a QB in one month in NFL history (min. 75 attempts): 81.8% (December 2008) [41] Most career games with a completion percentage of 70% or higher (min. 10 attempts): 55[181] Most seasons with 12+ wins as a starter (regular season only): 7 (1999, 2003–2008) Only QB with at least 12 wins as a starter in 6 consecutive seasons (2003–2008)[182]Only QB with seven straight seasons of 10+ wins as a starter (2002-2008)[41] First QB to defeat the other 31 teams in the regular season (Tom Brady did this later the same day, and Brett Favre did it the following week)[183]

kmbryant09 1 Posted November 14, 2009 there is no I in team so good job Peyton BRADY= MANNING= UHHHHH EXACTLY - which is why the PATRIOTS have 3 rings compared to the COLTS' 1. Not Brady's rings vs. Manning's rings
kmbryant09 1 Posted November 14, 2009 Win streaks, Team records? Brady has every significant team win streak in NFL HistoryClutch Play? HAH Individual Records? Brady has the single season TD record. HELLO All Manning has is statistics. Win Streaks and Team records are a push - see the Colts regular season success. They are even creeping up on the consecutive wins. Individual Records???? You follow that by saying all Manning has is statistics - that is the definition of individual records. How dumb are you??

three out of four 0 Posted November 15, 2009 There are a lot of important matchups but the one that no one is talking about is Belichick vs Caldwell. This is a huge one in the Pats favor. I don't care that Caldwell has started his career 8-0. The Colts struggled to beat Jax, SF, and Hou at home. PATS WIN 30-

three out of four 0 Posted November 15, 2009 and the Pats lost to the Jets and barely beat the Bills and Ravens... what was your point here? I guess reading comprehension isn't taught down on the farm. The point is that Belichick is going to school Caldwell. Are you arguing that Belichick is not a great coach because they struggled early this year with Brady coming back from major knee surgery and a completely new secondary and LB corp? If so, that's pretty stupid. The Colts brought back the team that ran off 10? in a row at the end of last year pretty much intact and have barely beaten some bad teams. Caldwell took over a perfect situation and if anything, the Colts have underachieved. I know 8-0 is hard to argue with but who have they beaten? Seriously, they should have blown out those teams. three out of four 0 Posted November 15, 2009 The Colts are this year's version of last year's Titans. They will probably end up with 13-14 wins because of a weak schedule and then ONE AND DONE in the playoffs. You heard it hear first.

Im not arguing anything. I simply asked what your point was in mentioning the Colts close wins over so-so teams? Especially considering the Patriots have had some close wins (and losses) to so-so teams. also, how can you say an 8-0 team is underachieving? That is the epitome of stupidity. Close, hard fought wins are wins.
WhiteWonder 2,735 Posted November 15, 2009 hey WhiteBoy when were those games played hey, I understand that... but if some tard is going to point to the Colts winning close games (but still winning them) against so-so competition then how can you not mention the close wins and losses that the Patriots have against .500 clubs? you can't be so selective in your arguments against the Colts. Perhaps he could have been more intelligent in his post and pointed out the fact that the Colts close wins over those teams have come more recently and that it might point to the Colts hitting a bit of a wall, while the Patriots close wins and losses came earlier in the season and they might be hitting their stride right now. But he didn't do that

Or both. By the way - anyone see the cover of SI this week? As if the Colts fans didn't have enough to worry about with the Pats coming to town, now they have to worry about Peyton popping his Achilles.

You made a poor argument about the Colts/Caldwell and I asked you about it.... thats it. So Belichick being better than Caldwell is a poor argument? You don't have to agree with it but you haven't given anything that shows that Belichick vs Caldwell isn't a huge advantage for the Pats. Give me something besides an 8-0 record against a creampuff schedule. That doesn't come close to what BB has accomplished as a coach/coordinator in the NFL.
