IGotWorms 4,060 Posted November 8, 2010 Hey, before you pop an anurism sorrycharlie, just think of the tasty third round draft pick that you guys got for free from my Vikings. Plus we got Oakland's first round picky from the Seymour trade last year. Unfortunately Oakland is somehow good this year.
PATSSOX 22 Posted November 8, 2010 Even I can agree with this... We are talking about that Charlie guy right There is my buddy Yes i was talking about him. Hey 'kmbryant' what did you think of Brown yesterday??
PATSSOX 22 Posted November 8, 2010 lol @ Patriots fans complaining about their 6-2 team. I'm sure everyone else in the league feels so terrible for you GO BROWNS!!! That guy is not a Patriots fan He is probably 'DallasEmpire' or one of those other guys who just try and pick fights. The Pats got man handled by Hillis and the Browns. It wasnt all bad though because i had reaquired Hillis this week so i could handle the bad loss. But bad news is Pats go to Indy next Sunday night. Its a must win for Indy. Dan 66 Posted November 8, 2010 What we learned yesterday is what we already knew . . . there is no dominant team in the NFL. There is a clump at the top of good-to-very-good teams, vying for what should be a wide-open playoffs. For any team that you put up to argue as the "best team" right now, there is an argument against them. The Patriots showed obvious weaknesses yesterday, but they have to remain in the conversation of the very good teams. They just aren't the best . . . this week. edjr 6,685 Posted November 8, 2010 Good wake up call for the Patriots and especially most of their moronic fans. Brandon Tate is turning into Bethel Johnson. I remember hearing some people say Tate was better than Nicks during their draft. If Tate can be 1/2 of Nicks that will be an accomplishment.

The one mistake big mistake they made was last year in the draft. Everyone knew they would not sign Moss back and they ended up trading up in draft and Dez Bryant feel to them and they passed on him It was smart to get rid of Moss before he ruined them more but stupid if you ask me to pass on Bryant. Now we will go to Indy next Sunday night and get pounded

Its a must win for Indy. I believe the game is in Foxboro, actually I'm 100% certain (I tried getting TIX, I live in CT). What do you make of this game? There's a couple of things going for, and going against each team: -Colts are really, really, really, really, really injured..Can they heal in 2 weeks? -Colts have a fairly easy matchup next week, home against the struggling Bengals. -The Patriots just got a wakeup call, does it piss them off enough for them to respond the next few weeks? -They travel to (?) Pittsburg this week which should be a very physical, hard-nosed football game. Lot of key components, I'd feel pretty confident if the game was @ Indy. But we've struggled on the road this season (2-3), and NE is never an easy place to play.

edjr 6,685 Posted November 8, 2010 yes, finally after a few years in row in Indy, the game is in foxboro this year. It doesn't seem as if the weather will be a factor though.

Manning is playing better than Brady atm, but Brady always has good games against us, so I doubt that changes. If we can't get back Powers, Session, Addai or Hart and Collie...it is going to be a hard game. I agree with Edjr that weather won't factor into it too much, at least I wouldn't think half way through November. I can see Pitt beating the Pats also, which won't bold well. When was the last time Pats lost 3 in a row? OPS i got confused Which easily happens as you know. I am glad we got two weeks to play the Pats, would not want it next week! Dan 66 Posted November 8, 2010 Yup Pats will be 6-3 heading into Colts game It will be a must win for both No guarantees there. First Pittsburgh needs to get past Cincinnati. Then we talk about how good of a game next week's GAME OF THE WEEK matchup should be.
mzf5c5 0 Posted November 8, 2010 No guarantees there. First Pittsburgh needs to get past Cincinnati. Then we talk about how good of a game next week's GAME OF THE WEEK matchup should be. That defense for Pitts is just playing so well. And they hit hard! I am glad the Colts don't play them this regular season. We have enough injuries!
IGotWorms 4,060 Posted November 9, 2010 Yeah Pitt is going to be a very tough game. Very tough. The Pats have had trouble moving the ball consistently for the past three or four weeks (since the Moss trade, not coincidentally), and I certainly don't see that improving against the best defense in football. The Pats D better step up bigtime because there is absolutely no way they win in a high scoring game.
Dan 66 Posted November 9, 2010 The trick is, though, that the Patriots have always been able to move the ball through the air against Pittsburgh, and the Steelers give up a bunch of receptions this year. The Patriots are one of those teams patient enough to march slowly down the field. I think Pittsburgh will have to be excellent in coverage and get pressure with 4 guys to rattle Brady a bit like he was yesterday.
