Dana White recently went on a rampage to end live streams. He has gotten all of the main streaming sites shut down.

I am out of town and want to watch this event.

150 GOTY points to anyone who can find this stream tonight.

Yea, ratsass.. :bandana:

Download and install Sopcast. It's 100% safe and reliable, or has been for me for over a year and a half now. I DL it for UFC 101 and have used it since.

Then each night there's an event, google the name of the event + sopcast link. Like "UFC xx sopcast link" and check around the results until something legit comes up. Open Sopcast, log in as anonymous and copy-paste the link into the address bar just like you would your browser.

Was very good.

Great Fedor fight. Silva surprised the hell out of me.

Just too much size difference....

They need more weight classes....

You'd never dream of letting GSP get mauled by a 230-pounder or Spider by a 245-pounder

Just too much of an advantage....

Still, how Fedor escaped that choke is beyond me..... that was amazing

Ideally, sure. But there's always gonna be someone bigger than the limit. Besides, the HW division (worldwide, forget about just within certain promotions themselves) is watered down and weak as it is. If you cap it somewhere and take off the 250+ or whatever, it'll just get worse.

Also add in the fact that boxing and most other combat sports recognize HW as unlimited, at least MMA promotions usually cap it at 265.

Fedor could have fought at 205 his whole career, he is smaller than many 205ers right now. But he has never believed in cutting weight and has done very well against guys of all size.

Like you said the talent isn't there to cut divisions. As the sport grows I would imagine they may add another division or 2. But that is still at least a few years away.

Disagree that the talent isn't there. There's enough to add a split at 235. Than you could bump up the cap on HW to 280, if that was necessary. There are plenty of tweeners, guys in the 225-235 range who are cutting to 205 or staying in the HW division and getting mauled by guys who naturally weigh 280. Split the division into HW 206-235 and Super HW 236+. You would probably get a bunch of guys in the light HW move into that division also as they could fight at a more natual weight of say 220-225 rather than have to cut to 205.

Good points....

There would be plenty of talent at 206-235

I think you'll get a ton of more 220-230 guys who would be eager to fight knowing that they don't have to face 285-pounders... a ton more that won't drastically cut to 205...

The talent is there and the match-ups will come....

Half of the UFC is dominated by one guy who is head and shoulders above everybody else in the division (Aldo, GSP, Spider, etc.).... One guy dominating everybody...That is boring to me...

I don't get how this new division could be so much worse... :dunno:
