steelers2101 7 Posted October 5, 2011 After not waiving him last week for free and dropping him in another league, I convinced myself that there wouldn't be a better waiver pickup the rest of the year (I have no need at any other position, barring injury), and I bid my entire $100 of auction money to waive him. mgs316 14 Posted October 5, 2011 My #2 RB situation is dismal at best with Greene, D. Thomas, and Lynch, I spent 35% of my $1000 cap on him hoping Hightower gets relegated to 3rd down role. American Chewy 98 Posted October 6, 2011 the hightower owner in my league spent over half his roll on him. i didnt figure him to be worth more than maybe 1/3 of someones waiver points, except to probably the hightower owner. tough deal with him being on bye the week he's a hot pickup, i couldn't really drop anyone this week even if i did really want him (which i kinda didn't--too much risk). Giants Fan 85 Posted January 7, 2012 I'd rather have Helu. I drafted Helu and Antonio Brown. Course I waived both of them .... comes week 12 and I was all, "I just wish I had the team I drafted." Wouldn't have mattered. Thinking McFadden's injury was a 2-4 week injury, and holding onto him .... screwed me. I had decent starting RBs by week 14 (see sig) .... but it was too late.
