RamslovaMartzhata 3 Posted September 26, 2011 Is there any greater pleasure than picking up a player that someone dropped, and have that player have a big day? Only thing that would have made it better is if I started him.
p00h 85 Posted September 26, 2011 You were wrong and I bet you play Moore this week. After the game, Brees was on the radio post game show and was asked about Moores return. Brees said several times that he trust Moore and knew he would get open on those two point conversions plays. how was I wrong when I fully acknowledged that he'll have monster games, but won't be consistent. The only way I'm wrong on that is if a few weeks from now he's shown that he will consistently get 10 targets, which will turn into 8 catches for a ton of yards and some TDs. Time will tell on that one. I will not be starting him next week...
p00h 85 Posted October 2, 2011 so, um, yeah...as I was saying...I don't need a guy that will go for 160 and 2 twice a year, and then have 2-15s, or even 5-50s most of the rest of the way...
WR Guru 31 Posted October 2, 2011 Can I please not hear this guy's name again for the rest of the year? I've never seen such a storm of hype for a mediocre player. Let it go. He is who we thought he was.
p00h 85 Posted October 2, 2011 Can I please not hear this guy's name again for the rest of the year? I've never seen such a storm of hype for a mediocre player. Let it go. He is who we thought he was. whether he's mediocre or the next coming of Jerry Rice is debatable. I think he's somewhere in between. Definitely not mediocre. However people seem to want to force him to the top of the food chain in NO. Anyone who knows anything about football and doesn't blindly become a homer of players they drafted can see there is no food chain in NO. Every week it's exploiting the matchups. If anything, 2 very unlikely candidates have risen to the top of the food chain if one existed. And they are sproles and Graham. Will Moore get him in a game or 2, sure. Brees will see something in what the D is presenting and abuse the sh!t out of it for the whole game. Does that mean Moore is a startable commodity??? Definitely not... p00h 85 Posted October 9, 2011 another solid week by Moore. Picture of consistent production!
beemo 0 Posted October 9, 2011 another solid week by Moore. Picture of consistent production! Yeah, it's clear now that while Moore is on a great team and can do well, Graham and Sproles have stolen his looks. I know I didn't think Sproles would continue to take his checkdown and outside catches as Moore still got those when Bush was playing, but I suppose that's more a testament to how poor and unreliable Bush was compared to Sproles. The only Saints who are FF relevant now are Brees, Graham, and Sproles. Everyone else is a crapshoot and not worth gambling on if you have a better or more consistent option. WR Guru 31 Posted October 9, 2011 Utterly mediocre. Sorry. Move on.
AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted October 9, 2011 Moore is the man when Reggie Bush is gone. But the Saints have a better Reggie Bush in Darren Sproles so I guess Bush never really left.
IGotWorms 4,057 Posted October 9, 2011 He focked me in two leagues this week. I thought he was gonna be the best PPR WR3 in fantasy football this year.
p00h 85 Posted October 30, 2011 so he finally showed up today in a weird weird game for the saints. Hope you weren't starting him the past 4 weeks waiting for this... and if you have him stashed away on your bench, well he's worth about as much as a santana moss is, which is collecting dust on the bench for no good reason... Joey Gladstone 33 Posted October 30, 2011 Guess who dropped Moore yesterday for Philip Tanner?
IGotWorms 4,057 Posted October 30, 2011 I dropped him the other day and I still feel good about it. You can't start him because he's more likely to get you 2 points than 15.
