Beanie Wells - Hamstring

Recommended Posts

On that same hand you've got a player that is going into what, his 6th week dealing with this injury?

Foster isn't 100%.

I think he's worried that Tate is getting too much press.

The last thing Foster wants to see Houston going into a full RBBC mode.

He's not 100% because he tried to rush back and prove he wasn't injured. Sometimes it's just better to take 1 week off.

The last thing Foster wants to see IN HIS CONTRACT YEAR, is Houston going into a full RBBC mode.

Added and Agreed

Not that I'm wishing he has an injury but as a Tate owner, I applaud Foster rushing back to face Pittsburgh. Break a leg, Arian!

beanie seems good to go ...!!!

Based on what?

From last week, prior to the Seattle game: http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/articles/2011/09/23/20110923arizona-cardinals-beanie-wells-confident-hamstring.html

Judging from the way he sprinted out of the Cardinals' locker room on Friday, it's safe to assume Beanie Wells' hamstring is just fine.

Wells was running late for a live television interview with ESPN on the other side of the team's practice facility, but he stiffed-armed his way past reporters to easily make it on time.

Will he be able to give it a full go come Sunday when the Cardinals (1-1) play their NFC West Division opener at the Seahawks (0-2)?

"Yeah, definitely," Wells said after his ESPN spot.

Beanie may miss games, but not interviews.

From GTG to GTD.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt indicated Friday that Beanie Wells (hamstring) will be a game-time decision in Week 4.

Whisenhunt said the Cardinals' medical staff will have to test out Wells' hamstring in pre-game warmups, but reiterated that there is "optimism" Beanie will play. Prior to his hamstring pull, Wells was averaging nearly six yards a carry with two touchdowns in two starts. Giants-Cardinals has a 4:05ET start, so Wells owners should be sure to have fall-back plans in late games.

Even if Beanie starts, it sounds like his hammy could snap at any second. No thanks! Plus he is playing against a good NYG run defense.

From GTG to GTD.

I like that. It can be the title of the ESPN documentary in a decade or so.

Im with JT. We're not hating on Wells' running abilities, we just question his durability.

You predicted earlier that Wells will score every game he is in.

I predicted that he will have 6 TDs.

Maybe we both will be right.

6TD???

5 Already after playing in ONLY 3 games.

questionable ??? whats this crap ...?

per roto-world

Beanie Wells (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 5 after going through limited practices all week.

Wells isn't know to have suffered setbacks and appears to have made it through the week unscathed. The Cards may have just listed him as questionable for precautionary reasons, as none of the Arizona beat writers have expressed concerned with Beanie's availability. Through three starts, Wells is averaging a career-high 5.44 yards per carry. Make sure he's active on Sunday morning, but Wells should be locked into lineups even in a tough matchup at Minnesota

4 Games played this year.

5 rushing TD and at least 1 in each game.

Seattle has the 22nd racked rush D last year. They give up 118.9 rushing yard per game. In 2011, they are giving up 104...

HOW THE HELL DO YOU SAY THEY DO REALLY WELL defending the run!!!

Seattle went into the weekend ranked #9 in rushing defense, giving up 89 ypg. They limited the NY rushing game to under 70 yds.
