Blockbuster trade - should I do it?

Im 2-2 in a 14 team league. I lost in week three by 0.04 pts (yes that's 1 passing yard!)

 

We start: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, D

I've been offered Peyton Hillis, Marques Colston and Jabr Gaffney for Santana Moss, Dez Bryant and Mark Ingram.

 

At first glance it appears I'm giving up a lot of value, but I'm also loaded at WR in a 14 team league, and I could use an upgrade at RB. If I make the trade,tThe new team would be:

If it's a redraft league I would do it. Hillis and AP are the only guys on their teams. Well Cleveland better realize that at least, I think they will.

I'd do that trade. You're right re: upgrade at RB. ...and you're upgrading WR as well. Colston whould be huge for you.

I would do it, moss and ingram weren't cracking your starting lineup before.

 

So you basically switch starting WR (dez) for a starting RB(hillis).

I agree, I'd pull the trigger. Hillis will be an upgrade along with Colston.

with h.knicks & dez your team is $$$

i had to trade knicks for beanie because i was hurting at rb.....look to upgrade @rb

I would leave your team alone. You're have a good WR core and you're pretty good at RB too. Don't mess with a good thing man.

I would do it. Hillis is now a solid RB2 for you. And Colston will be targeted more going forward.

I'm not really a fan of ingram and would much rather have hillis. hes a decent upgrade over ingram and gives you a strong RB corps s well as a decent wr corp. with colston, you aren't guaranteed anything week by week but hes in a dangerous offense. its an upgrade and the only thing you really lose in this is depth while gaining a better starting lineup.

Hillis is an obvious upgrade but you're downgrading your WRs do get him. You've got enough depth to afford it, but I don't think Marshall or Colston is going to be what Bryant will be the 2nd half of the season. So long as Hillis replaces the points you're losing at WR you'll be fine.

 

Classic give big win big scenario. I'd make the trade with tempered expectations from my WRs.
