moz - iam wood -- trade

Recommended Posts

if Sjax stays healthy its a nice deal for me ples I think Manningham out does Cruz here on out but that might be wishful thinking. Gives me DMC - Sjax - DThomas as mt RB's with Wallace , White , and Smitty as my wides add in a healthy AH at TE I might just contend if healthy.

talk about trading garbage for a starter... BGJE won't see more than 15 carries in any game here on out, and Cruz is a flash in the pan that can't be counted on as a starter from week to week...

you can try to say BJGE is a solid RB3 all you want, but the fact of the matter is he'll be splitting carries with 3 other guys for the rest of the season on a pass-first offense.

Addai and Jacobs are in RBBC w/ just 1 other person each and only project to get better as the year goes on, instead of having already peaked and being traded at the top of their value.

whtas matter famous upset I pulled a trade after you did. I have done nothing but give you accolades and you decide to be a ###### towards me -- whatever floats your boats I guess

I really don't think Cruz is a flash in the pan. As a Giants homer, I watch every down they play, and Eli really likes this guy. He has a habit of getting open and making the really tough catches. Honestly, I'm probably call this trade a wash. :dunno:

I don't know, I needed to shake things up. I bought high and sold low on these guys probably. I had/have some RBs and no WRs. I have a habit so far in this league of poor decisions and you guys pouncing on them, I am a little on TILT, but that's okay, I need the serious competition.

Cruz is looking like a favorite target.

BJGE has a high ceiling.

SJax is offense in bad offense and getting old.

I had to try something and this is a gamble with some upside. Else I could stay steadily bad, or try to get some upside.

also I wouldn't of done this trade if not for his toe - I was afraid of Ridley having a big game -- Law Firm is a solid #3 RB and is in the top 20 in our league in scoring - much higher in non ppr. Cruz has torn it up and is a top 15 wr right now. How did I give this guy garbage? Sorry if I actually have a decent team this year - maybe not as good as yours but pretty decent I think. In your trade Addai is hurt and had done NOTHING all season -- other than 1 game Jacobs had done nothing all year -- both you could legit say are FF garbage -- Cam is really good I admit that and you traded him to the 1 team that would have given you what you wanted congrats on that

this is your quote on Tolbert, who was #7 in scoring in the league at the time:

ETA - Tolbert is a solid RB3 but I doubt I could or would give what you would want for him

so if the #7 scoring RB is a "solid RB3", inherently that makes a "top 20" garbage and unstartable... its simple math...

I said he was a #3 becasue Mathews was the #1 RB on the team -- way to go off subject - becasue you can't prove a point.

you want "simple math" I traded a top 20 RB and a top 20 WR for a RB coming off injury . Sorry if I don't kiss your ass like some here thinking your this FF god. So by all means out your :first: :first: 's in and tout how great you are - hell thats part of it just don't expect me to buy into it.

you're so easy to set up Moz... i've been waiting for like 2 weeks for you to bust out a "he's a top XX" player ever since you said Tolbert was a #3 and i said he was the #7 so you must play in a 3 team league...

it took until yesterday, but you finally bit...

once again off topic -- for the last time I said IMO Tolbert was a #3RB on a fantasy team not based on stats he had 2 really good weeks just based on I thought Mathews was going to be the main guy. Have no clue what that has to do with this? BJGE has been been rocky steady other than 1 week and a nice rb 3 Cruz has been Eli's fav target for 3-4 weeks -- I most likely got the bad end of this trade I just felt I had a chance at a top 12 back that I could buy low on so I did. For some reason you like to be a douche towards me - if that makes you happy man have it - but I won't join the cronies that think youre so great at FF -- youre good I give you that and have always said as much but there are many very good players in this league -- some have had some bad luck this year. Yeah you won 2 titles in this league - 1 was due to a great trade and a great WW pick up - also you had a fine year all around - kudos - great year. 1 was - you were the last team to make it in at 7-6 - you got hot and lucky and you know it - whether you admit it or not.

sorry man call it having a bad week but I am done arguing for the sake of arguing.

I am in the middle of finalizing my divorce child support / custody so I guess Ihave other things on my mind -- though FF is a nice release on sundays

I hope you don't think I'm a cronie of famous b/c I'm afraid of his 5-0 team that just added Frank Gore for his backups. I'm definitely not. My ff skills are far superior! :music_guitarred:

Moz,

one of these years you will learn that i just like pushing your buttons cause it's easy to get under your skin...

fwiw, i actually own Cruz in my big money league and feel like he's the next Steve Smith #2... it's just a matter of he can get more looks from Eli so he doesn't have to make circus catches constantly in order to put up the numbers.
