How does your team now...

Recommended Posts

Our trade deadline was yesterday, and got me thinking about how different my team is now vs. preseason. Went back and noticed I only have two players (McCoy and Hernandez) that I actually drafted.

Drafted-

Freeman, Bradford

McCoy, Wells, Greene, Sproles

Roddy White, Wayne, Britt, Burleson, Meacheam

Hernandez, Lewis, Tamme

Janikowski

Patriots

Now-

Brady, Stafford

McCoy, FJax, Bush, Murray, Addai

AJ, Jennings, VJax, Harvin, Robinson

Hernandez, Finley

Carpenter

Eagles

Lots of trades throughout the year- one guy owes over $250 in transaction fees for his 52 WW moves and trades.

How many teams out there have noone on their roster from draft day?

I was thinking the same thing. How the hell did he get an upgrade at almost every position through trades?

QB1 Freeman to Brady

QB2 Bradford to Stafford

RB2 Wells to FJax

RB3 Greene to Bush

WR1 Roddy White to AJ

WR2 Wayne to Jennings

WR3 Britt to Vincent Jackson

TE2 Lewis/Tamme to Finley

You would've had to rape everyone in your league in trades all year.

10 team, start 2RB/3WR...

Draft

Roethlisbeger, Stafford

Turner, Felix, Wells, Demarco Murray, Choice, Ben Tate, James Starks, Roy Helu

Andre Johnson, Miles Austin, Welker, Steve Johnson, Denarious Moore

Now

Roethlisberger, Stafford, Tebow

Turner, Wells, Felix, Jackie Battle, James Starks, Ryan Torain, Roy Helu

Andre Johnson, Steve Johnson, Wes Welker, Antonio Brown, Jon Baldwin

I think I would've been better off never making a move. Turned Demarco Murray, Choice, Tate, Austin and Denarious into Tebow, Battle, Torain, Antonio Brown, and Jonathan Baldwin.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing also. How do you go from 2 bad QBs to 2 top 10 QBs without losing any good players :dunno: Not to mention all the other position upgrades. I smell BS

Last year I got Hillis, Vick and Tamme off waivers .... so I doubt I'll ever have a better year than that. But this year it has seemed harder. Particularly for RBs. If you are in a 12 team league, chances are you have some issues at RB. I'm starting Ringer this week.

Drafted Antonio Brown and Roy Helu late. Wish I still had both of them. Only trade of note was Tolbert for Jacobs, and I don't regret that.

I'll open this can of worms...

Here's my transactions for the year.

Before week 1-

Dropped Tamme for Hunter

Traded Bradford, Greene and Roddy White for Stafford, SJax and Jennings. (At the time, Greene was supposed "break-out" candidate, and White was ranked higher than Jennings. I believe Bradford was rated higher than Staford as well; I wanted Stafford in the draft.)

Before week 2-

Traded Wells, Britt, Wayne, and a 3rd next year for FJax, Harvin, AJ and a 10th. (Britt was coming off an excellent week 1, Wells had a 20+ point game, and he liked Wayne- Fjax had a decent game, but was included because the guy wanted Wells so badly.)

After week 2-

WW Watson for Hunter

Before week 5-

Traded Watson and SJax for Addai and Finley

Before week 6-

WW Cassel, NE D and Little for Burleson, Titans D and Freeman

Before week 7-

WW Bush and Breaston for Lewis and Meachem

Before week 8-

WW Carpenter and Bengels for Janikowski and Titans

Traded Cassel, Sproles and Breaston for Brady, Murray and VJax (This one was already discussed for a long time on another thread- bottom line is he wanted Sproles badly, and felt Brady and VJax were expendable vs. what he already had on his roster (Newton, Maclin, S. Johnson and Nelson). He offered it to me. Would anyone have rejected it?)

Before week 10-

WW Robinson and Eagles for Little and Bengals
