Ray_T 801 Posted November 25, 2011 do I actually have to pick one of them?
BobSanders_33 127 Posted November 25, 2011 That is a pretty poor group to pick from. The upside of Toby, Thomas, and Hardesty is limited. I don't see any situation where they could be anything more than an unimpressive flex play. I'd go with McKnight knowing that if SG goes down he could put up some numbers. Philo312 41 Posted November 25, 2011 In a PPR.. Definately avoid Thomas and McNight. the only one who has PPR value is Gerhart...but only for the next 1 -2 weeks.
madd futher mucker 36 Posted November 25, 2011 In a PPR.. Definately avoid Thomas and McNight. the only one who has PPR value is Gerhart...but only for the next 1 -2 weeks. ???? This statement is completely inaccurate. Gerhart has perhaps the least PPR value among the three you mentioned. Both Thomas and McKnight are very good receivers out of the backfield. Pierre has been especially effective as a receiver the last 3 years when healthy - last year, about 25% of his touches have been receptions, an excellent ratio for a RB. I'd say Thomas has the most value as a flex right now. Gerhart has minimum value when ADP returns (probably in week 14), and McKnight has the most upside but the lowest floor, with Greene expected to be back to 100% this week and LT should be back next week. Hardesty is a complete wild card in this deck. All four of these guys are major crapshoots.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted November 25, 2011 wow...that's some list. for my part I think it's probably Thomas, Hardesty, McKnight then Gerhart. I'm fairly set on the first and last ones, but the middle two could easily swap. I favor Hardesty right now simply because he'll likely have more opportunity being the starter. However, if the Jets falter I could see them ceeding more chances to McKnight, who to me would have more upside then.
