MY3GSONS 0 Posted December 13, 2012 I have him also and I was thinking of doing the same thing, HOWEVER, we r talking about the worse pass defense in the NFL and what is a better start then Graham unless u have Gonzo, witten or Hernandez? Going with Graham as should you.
GreenTD 56 Posted December 13, 2012 Thankfully I have no better options so I can't overthink sitting him. Hopefully this becomes a classic reverse psychology threads & he burns all the owners who benched him. Keep em coming ladies & gents!
Woble Eth 11 Posted December 13, 2012 No one. Don't over think it - you'll regret it. He'll play a big role against the Falcons.
edjr 6,584 Posted December 13, 2012 I too am benching Shayne Graham, whatta stiff.

Mile High Magic 8 Posted December 13, 2012 No TE required so I am considering benching him for Steve Smith. That said, the last time these two teams played the backup TE scored on a long one. Graham has had some crappy games the last few weeks and has been in the game on fewer downs. TB has a crappy secondary and he is probably due for a good game but will he have a better game than Smith. UGGGGHHHH I am struggling with this.
swirvenirvin 25 Posted December 13, 2012 No one because in the league I owned him in I lost last week. FOCK YOU GRAHAM
bonkbonk 5 Posted December 13, 2012 So i was looking at points allowed to TE by team. Graham - Tampa Bay 10th Gresham - Philly 24th Even on paper Granham is a better play. Over the last 4 games: Graham has avg 5.9 ppg. Gresham has avg 7.7 ppg. Guess it really don't matter. TE just cant help itself from being the most inconsistent position. Trading Spiller for that bum Graham really looks stupid now. Anyway we could just nickname Graham "That Bum"?
Perennial Contender 18 Posted December 13, 2012 Tony Scheffler is a sneaky play this week at AZ with Pettigrew ailing, possibly out. Stafford will be throing all day to CJ and Scheff(10 targets last week). I am starting him over Gates in one league and Evans in the other. Get him while you can. 80/1. Arsenal 3 Posted December 13, 2012 While he certainly hasn't lived up to his ADP, at this point you just gotta roll with him. He is due for a TD
bonkbonk 5 Posted December 15, 2012 So Gresham got a nice tidy 12.3 in ppr, but i could not pull the trigger. But I read this sh!t from rotoworld: Saints coach Joe Vitt revealed Friday that Jimmy Graham has been playing through an "ongoing" wrist injury all season. Vitt explained that Graham, a former basketball player, has been learning to play through "nicks" during the grind of an NFL season. As for the wrist injury in particular, Pro Football Focus has charted Graham with a career-high 11 drops through 12 games. Graham had seven drops in 18 games last season. We still love his chances of a bounce-back game Sunday versus Tampa Bay. Dec 14 - 2:07 PM Bounce back? God i hope. How bout this making fun of us, from NFL: Though not listed on the injury report, Graham has played through a wrist injury this year, New Orleans Times-Picayune writer Mike Triplett reports. Analysis: It's one potential explanation for Graham's recent struggles. Graham has failed to score or surpass the 59-yard mark in the last three weeks, but the majority of his owners will want to keep starting him anyway. I'm stuck with him now. Good luck all you Graham owners.

I'm in almost the same situation in a league where TE in not required. Debating D. Alexander over Graham. With Graham's struggles and now his injury, I think both WR's are better plays. Graham has got an easy matchup, but it's not like Alexander and Smith are playing against shut down defenses. Am I crazy?
MY3GSONS 0 Posted December 15, 2012 Would you start pitta over Graham??
raider92001 0 Posted December 15, 2012 Would you start pitta over Graham?? I don't think so. If have to play a TE, you have to have one of the top 5 in order to bench Graham. Pitta, as with most TE's not in the top 5, is very inconsistent. Plus, DEN has a pretty good defense. The question comes in when you can play WR's over Graham. Then, I think he is more benchable. WR Guru 31 Posted December 15, 2012 If you're a Graham owner, I think you live or die with him this week. The matchup is too good. Very likely to be a shootout. I'd rather lose and know that I went down with my big gun than over-think it and plug in some scrub while Graham catches 8 balls a TD.

The matchup is ripe & New Orleans is playing for pride in a divisional matchup trying to spoil Tampa's playoff hopes.
Darthpaul 0 Posted December 16, 2012 For me, it's between Graham and Hernandez. Like Hernandez more this season, but I don't like Hernandez's matchup this week, and he's listed as questionable (what else is new). Graham has been pretty useless lately though, but he's bound to blown up, right, great matchup against TB. Tough one, but I'm leaning towards Graham.
Mile High Magic 8 Posted December 16, 2012 Can't bench him good matchup. His interview where he revealed wrist injuries and his response saying he must produce. I think he has a big day going with him over dez because of injury and dez matchup.
