DaBeerz 88 Posted September 30, 2014 Do I play week to week matchup roulette with my defense? NE posted a solid -2 points last night! I also have the Chicago Defense... There are some defenses on the WW, with their point totals I don't think anyone will take them: Dolphins, Miami Def/ST 108.00 Giants, New York Def/ST 93.00 Cowboys, Dallas Def/ST 78.00 Packers, Green Bay Def/ST 56.00 Raiders, Oakland Def/ST 55.00 Falcons, Atlanta Def/ST 44.00 Browns, Cleveland Def/ST 37.00 Jaguars, Jacksonville Def/ST 29.
dojo_commish 0 Posted September 30, 2014 maybe pickup a new defense every week! Streaming Defense isn't a terrible idea....especially when you don't have a top 3 one. I love the GB D this week vs. a Minny team who could be starting Christian Ponder at QB!
polecatt 486 Posted September 30, 2014 Not a good showing but I don't think there is a Defense out there that can't get steam rolled. I don't much think you will get any better. I would ride it out another week.
aRam 1 Posted September 30, 2014 I agree with polecatt, none of the defenses seem like an upgrade at all, I'd stick with New England this week.
49erGold 36 Posted September 30, 2014 Umm point totals kind of useless cause that is over do you want some one high yes but so many factors. The only one's I think I'd trust over Chi are Mia, Cle and GB... just lineup your schedule... obviously they didn't lineup well last week so if one of those matches NE better I'd take them... vulnerable run D so don't underestimate in the future. I know I figured it might be helpful though. i think Miami will get picked up after the bye week, but I don't need to make a move on them right now. That leaves CLE or GB for me. CLE have a good looking schedule of powder puff offensive teams coming up. GB have a great looking matchup against (possibly) a backup QB this week, and Rodgers looks like he's finally got that offense rolling. Would you drop NE or CHI? NE have been very streaky and posted a -2 point game on Monday night. I'd rather have consistent points than a 50 point week, followed by a -2 point week. NE looked amazing against MIN and OAK. 49erGold 36 Posted September 30, 2014 Its a close call neither been gang buster but NE vs Min showed they can do turnovers and well vs weaker teams just have a viable 2 DST. CHI umm has Jarred Allen but already lost Tillman and think Houston is hurt... right now NE is healthier team and Revis hasn't been that bad.
Hail Murray 1 Posted September 30, 2014 I'd keep NE. Having said that I'm not to keen on them this week. If you're thinking of keeping two D's I'd drop CHI for GB for this week.
H-man 12 Posted September 30, 2014 NE are one of the 5 DSTs that you hold I guess.
JediMaster 20 Posted October 2, 2014 NE had ONE good week. They are droppable. Play match up each week. GB has a great one against Minn. so I'd say drop NE for GB. Thanks for mine.
