RLLD 3,455 Posted April 7, 2015 http://mashable.com/2015/04/07/edward-snowden-hologram-statue-brooklyn/ Just curious, what is the perception of this guy now? Hero? Patriot? Villan?
MDC 5,893 Posted April 7, 2015 Mostly hero / patriot. And I say that because a lot of what he revealed was patently illegal activity by the NSA against US citizens, like monitoring / collecting info from Google and Yahoo accounts along with cell phone locations. I say "mostly" because some of what he discovered / revealed like spying on out own international allies falls into a gray area for me and probably wasn't necessary to reveal. IGotWorms 3,315 Posted April 7, 2015 For me he's in a grey area, closer to hero/patriot but I would listen to a non-smear job argument that he's more of a villain, or at least has become a useful pawn for our frenemies
