Lets just say you work with someone you were friendly with, who you had worked with for 10 years and never talked to on the phone, did not even have his number.

Lets play pretend and say you got suspended from work for something you were accused of (but didn't do) to a woman in the office and your job was in jeopardy. What if that friend from work had got your number and reached out to you and wanted to support you. I guess that means you must be have done it?

Problem with the wrong gauge theory as presented would mean that Pats balls would have been at 12.2 to start, since the one gauge was reading .3 to .45 higher. Also, the Colts/Luck have stated they aim for 13.0. If that's the case and the higher gauge was used Colts balls should have registered at 13.3, but Anderson said they were between 12.9 and 13.05 before the game.

This guy's theory is based on that Anderson "recalled" using one gauge and this his recall is accurate how many weeks later, for something that was extremely routine. Lay footballs out, grab a gauge and measure them, do you really think he could possibly remember which one he used, when he's done this 100's of times. He has memories of using both of em over the years. Also as a lawyer I'm pretty sure you are familiar with the problem of witnesses memories and accuracy.

I could see one five minute call where Brady told him not to worry about it because both of them know full well that there was never air let out of the balls. Keep doing a great a job. I appreciate all that you do. Blah blah blah. Six calls? Talking for 60 minutes?? That's called trying to get the story straight.

Oh, and the person's nickname? The Deflator. lol

One "hang in there" call would be plausible. Not the rest. Sorry guys , they did it. Let this be a lesson to all of us: the phone will do you in. Every guy I ever knew who got caught messing around with a chick got busted because of the phone. The first thing cops, fbi. Ect want in an investigation are the phones. Always the phones.

At this point, Patriots fans should have all switched over into suspension mode. What's fair, what's not. Anyone still grasping to the 'we didn't cheat' thing just looks foolish and unintelligent.

Well, I suppose Tom may have realized he was a really cool dude and just wanted to be his buddy for some of them. LOL

News was coming out fast and furiously in the days after the game. They were both probably sh!tting their pants and needed to keep reassuring each other that they had their ducks in a row.

and you're confusing me with others again.

It's OBVIOUS air was let out of the bals. I just don't give a sh1t or think its a big deal.

I know deep down you don't either. You just need a reason to make this into a huge story and fan the flames.

Oh no, the cheatriots won another super bowl and are at it again  please.

Just like steroid abuse in sports is not a big deal. I don't give a fock.

I think this is a huge deal. A team already notorious for pushing the rules and breaking the rules, waits till after the officials take their inflation readings and scurry quickly into a bathroom to deflate them well under the legal limit? This was well thought and no doubt perfected to a T over the years. And just like it's a bigger deal when Suh is the one with the illegal hit, it's an even bigger deal because it's the Patriots doing this sh1t again.

perfected? c'mon dude.

how many other QBs have said they liked them a certain way? if you think that no other team didn't fock with them, you're just not being honest. Your hate for the patriots has your mind so messed up. It's like when you argue with RP, you just find another zone of despise and you can't think clearly.

if the rules were they had to be between 12.5 and 13.5, how were they 16 for the jets game? haven't heard you bring that up.

Nobody (but posty) really acknowledges Bonds as the all time HR leader. There is a really good chance Brady has tarnished himself as the greatest QB of all time too, not to mention the Pats' legacy. Least to all non-NE homers.

Yeah, because McNally said in a text they were 16, we should believe him, he's proven to be so honest in the past.

Rogers said he likes it on the high end of legal. That's why there's a range and not a precise measurement. I have heard plenty of quarterbacks say that they like it on the high end or the low end. Still haven't heard one say he has his equipment managers sneak into a bathroom and deflate them to make their grip better.

Yes, Bonds' home record will always be in the books. As will the Patriots' championships. And they'll be viewed at very similarly.

I'm sure it will be along the same lines we only focus on Bonds cause he was the best, but all the other players were doing steroids too argument that Ed loves to make, you know full of conjecture without any evidence.

No, you focus on bonds because he was a dink and the best and has the record.

if bonds career ended with 555 home runs you wouldn't give a sh1t.

You know who else had 555 career home runs? exactly.

Yes. They Pats fans did the same thing after they got caught spying. They follow a playbook. It's quite humorous actually. Denial until the evidence becomes too overwhelming, then it changes to 'everyone else does it'. lol, it's a beautiful thing to watch.

I don't focus on Bonds, I equally impugn all whom we know to have taken Roids. You make excuses and try to rationalize it as okay.

Barry Bonds could have been a hero to me if he retired at 754 home runs. But he was too selfish. It was why he was so obsessed with the steroids and wasn't content with being the best all-around player in the game.

I don't have to rationalize.

if you were given a test at work today and told if you passed your salary would be doubled.

if there was a way you could cheat to assure you pass, you're g0ddamn right you'd focking cheat!R%@!ER$~@

There is no doubt that his ego (which made him who he was) lead him to steroids. He was McGwire and Sosa launching them all over the place. He wanted that for himself.

I agree. And like I said, by the time he was approaching 700, everyone knew he was juicing. He should have stopped and gone back to being an all-around player, or retired at 754. I don't hate him for doing steroids. I hate him for turning sports most prestigious record into a joke that no one cares about anymore. Just as ARod passing Willie Mays is a disgrace.

What, if there were consequences, yeah maybe I'd consider it. But that's not really a good analogy Ed..because you OMIT the part where he went out and got illegal drugs and no, I wouldn't do something illegal to double my salary, so again you are RATIONALIZING---the definition is coming up to prove that something wrong is okay...like using illegal drugs to get a leg up on your opponents.

Hopefully Ed III will be getting his moral lessons from his mom.

and so far as Brady is concerned.

he had no choice but to lie, because remember this came out right before the super bowl.

then as we all do, when we lie to someone, we think we have them convinced and we keep the lie going and make it worse and worse. Then when she almost forgets and your out to dinner a couple months later and you slip up and get busted. :wall:

Here's what he should have said immediately. "I put incredible pressure on our equipment team to make sure everything is just the way I want it. In this instance, they went too far and that's on me. The rules are there for a reason and the balls were obviously lower than league rules permit. I apologize and never meant to challenge the integrity of the league and its rules."

Done. He/the Pats would have been fined. No need for him to deny access to his texts and emails. No need for their ridiculous press conference where they all pretended to be SO insulted. And no need for this to have drug on for four months.
