Best QB in the NFL - FINALLY suing the NFL

Recommended Posts

Yeah, that's why you're getting slapped around here.

When you can't see the forest for the trees - it worked. :)

I've always been an animal person. I'd save an animal before a human.

What vick did was despicable. I am that person that unless I see it, I can compartmentalize it.

I even saw the Ray Rice video and I still think she did something to make him do it. He didn't just decide out of the blue to smack her. again, not justifying it, complete coward. I just have this innate ability to give almost everyone to over look what they did. The marathon bombers and the cowards they shoot up theaters and schools? no punishment is good enough for them

Again I wholeheartedly agree. When I see humans getting hurt i just laugh. Loved the Ray Rice vid. But if I see a puppy or kitten being kicked it makes me sad and rage. Id donate to a starving dog before I gave money to a booze addled homeless guy.

What worked? Making a fool of yourself?

Well you kind of have to see it from his perspective. Hes arguing that Tony freaking Romo has been a successful QB in the nfl. So by that measuring stick, making a fool of himself and losing a debate is kind of like winning.

it's funny. The Eagles suck even though they're always competitive. Usually in the playoffs. But can't win the big one. But he can't see that Romo is exactly the same. Good every year. Great on paper. Never won a thing.

I expected 1 of you to be ignorant - but all 3? Talk about a circle jerk.

All I've claimed is Romo has been a really good qb, who at times has sucked. Considering he's had no basic defense to help him, and a somewhat spare cast of clowns around him previous- he's done ok... He has a team now - and oh by the way, he is playing better than ever and winning some.

And as of today - I take him over any qb in the division - you bet. So would most others. And yes, that includes Eli Dilfer. :)

Get your ass kicked and then downplay it. Be a man. You didn't go through all that trouble on a fishing expedition. Go down with some dignity, your attempt to save face is as transparent as Jerry Jones forehead.

Forest, tree...

But for amusement sakes - I did nothing of the such. Pointed out Eli Dilfer is an average qb who's taken advantage of some breaks, and that Romo is a pretty good qb who's had some meltdowns, also some successes. Sorry the Eli Dilfer thing makes your butt hurt - you're clearly defensive about it.... Must be bcoz of the trees. :)

Yeah, ok. Keep telling yourself that. Everyone here can read, and no one is buying your nonsense. What do I have to be but hurt about? I know what Eli is, and it's better than what Tony is. And isn't.

Everyone huh? You, Newbs and Tastic now constitutes "everyone". Ha, omg man - get over youself... And again, I'm sorry it butt hurts you I'd rather have Romo over Eli Dilfer right now. Try cream - I hear it helps. :)

So you disagree that everyone can read? I don't blame you for wanting Romo over Eli. You've been waiting a long, long time for him to pay off. Why give up now, considering how long it's been? If you waited this long, with some luck it won't be long until he pays off. But the long and short of it is that I think it's a long shot. So long.

I know you have Cowboy stars in your eyes and up your ass, but do you have any idea what Romo's reputation is? Nationally? To everyone else? Ill help. Since he's not a Cowboy, I'm sure you know that Peyton Manning has gotten the rep of being a numbers-guy who chokes when the pressure is on. Well imagine that reputation, but without the ring Peyton has. That's Romo's rep. You're welcome.

I will admit that the guy is tough. Usually plays through his injuries. Although I could do without some of the theatrics every time he throws a pick. If you notice, it's always followed by a grimace and a grabbing of his back or shoulder or arm. But he doesn't miss a ton of games.

But if it was an NFC Championship game. Gun to your head. You'd pick Eli. You'd have to. He rises to the occasion. Romo wilts.

If we're talking fantasy, Eli- 30td's/14 int/ 4410 yards. No Beckham to start season, Cruz out most of season, O line a mess.

Tony Romo- 34/9 3700. Best WR Best O line. Best RB

Depends what is around each team and who they are playing.

Against a team where you need to grind out a tough win...give me Eli.

Need to out up points in a shootout. Give me Romo.

Newbs jumps in to bash a Cowboy, beat his chest, proclaims to the room his omnipotent wisdom, and tells somebody they have something up their ass - raise your hand if you've heard this one before...

Does it bother you that I'd rather have Romo over Eli right now - why, why are you butt hurt over it? I understand MB - but you're acting as if somebody took your crayons.

That doesn't bother me at all. Of course you would. Just making sure you understand what Romo is known as to the rest of the country.

Of course I know - and some of it is very warranted. Some of it, though, is not. These are the ones who don't watch the games, simply read a flash text the next morning and follow the sheep.... He's 1 hit away from hanging it up, and has about 2 years left to make something happen - least it's fun to be back in a position of contention. That 17 year stretch was miserable.

The Cowboys were the number one seed in 2007. They weren't in contention then? Don't you remember Jerruh handing out tickets to the NFC championship? Listen up man, I don't know what the football debates are like around here, but when it comes to me, bring your A game. You're going to need it.

You may need some help, you're memory seems spotty... I've already pointed out the 2007 game - it's where Eli Dilfer was born. It's also the reason he sends annual checks to P. Crayton.

You said it was a long 17 years of not being in contention. They were the one seed in 2007. The number one seed is considered a contender. In 2009 they won the division with an 11-5 record, again, that's considered a contender. Step it up kid. There's a new sheriff in town.

Was speaking in a general sense. Once or twice in a 17 year span is pretty damn crappy - least for this franchise.

Not at all - those were good years. Hardly a pattern of success, nor slump stoppers. It was an overall terrible 17 year stretch.

They were more than good years. Somebody choked them away. And how many division titles did they lose on the last day of the season? It's getting worse for you, not better. You can't blame this thrashing on Newbie.

Bring it on - glad to talk about it. Name the choke jobs and specific instances... Take your time, I know you will have to Google.

Start with the choke in 2011 off the top of my head, and they lost to the Eagles at least once recently. Then Of course there's 2007 and 2009. And 2006. Quick enough for you?

Cool.

* If you remember, which you don't, Dallas was in great shape at 7-4 heading into Week 13. Arizona, on the road - the infamous "timeout" game. With seconds left Dan Bailey is lined up for a game winning 53 yarder - ball is snapped, he nails it - game over! Oh wait, not so fast - our dumbass coach called a TO right before the snap. Was unfocking believable - our own coach iced our own kicker. Incidentally, Romo had about a 96 rating that game.

* The next week NY came to town. In what was one of the most memorable games ever at Jerry World - it was also probably the best, most perfect microcosm of Romo's career... Dal & NY traded blows all game long - neither could stop the other from scoring... But late in the 4th, Romo had Dallas up 34-29 with like 6 minutes to go. On a 3rd and 5, from our end of the field, Miles Austin burns Aaron Ross so bad the fire department was dispatched - and the idiot Austin misses the perfectly thrown ball - a ball that would have been an easy 6 and church... Austin claims he lost it in the lights - BS, he just focked up.. Needless to say NY gets the ball and scores and takes the lead....... Romo then drives Dallas down for a game tying FG - and of course, it gets blocked...... How anyone could put this one on Romo is beyond me. For the game he threw for 320+ yards, 4 tds, no picks and a rating of 141.

After those 2 nut crunching losses - our team was mentally mind focked, never recovered. Went on to win in TB, then got beat to hell by Philly and NY to close it out.

I'm really not sure what MB is trying to get at... I'm on record as saying Romo has had his share of chokes. Also on record as saying he's had his share of good times too... But if he wants to talk Cowboys football, cool - always up for that.
