Mungwater 597 Posted October 23, 2015 We saw what moderates look like in Webb and Chafee. That's not her. She only looks moderate compared to Sanders and O'Malley. And that's only style not substance. No doubts about Bill. I've.warmed to him much over the years. Hillary is well to his left though and I don't see in her the commitment to fiscal responsibility I saw in Bill (W and Obummer have been disastrous in this). She sure has a left liberal's shopping list of programs needing to be paid for. Her foreign policy is supposed to be her strength, I think is dubious. If she wants to break with the left, this is a bad issue to do it with. Sanders is much better. And I'm not going to go with being entrenched with big donors and special interests as anything but a negative. There are some Republicans that would force me to vote for her over, some I would gladly vote for against her, some are really hard to tell right now. It all needs to play out. I'd prefer Bernie, even though his ideas are batshit crazy, you at least you know where he's coming from, unlike Hillary who's already been caught in a ton of lies since getting in the public eye. They're mostly bullshit ones, but even how her parents picked her name, completely harmless, but it says a ton about her character overall.
NewbieJr 541 Posted October 23, 2015 Other than gotcha soundbites...she will destroy Trump in a debate. She is too seasoned. He will get his quips in that his mindless base eat up...but on any actual issue, she will own him. And I don't like her at all...thats just how it will actually go. This. Trump will treat it like a celebrity roast. Thinking that he can win with insults and digs. But he'll get a destroyed by a woman who is literally twice as intelligent. Mungwater 597 Posted October 23, 2015 This. Trump will treat it like a celebrity roast. Thinking that he can win with insults and digs. But he'll get a destroyed by a woman who is literally twice as intelligent. She'll be twice as prepared with her stock answers, but I don't think either of them has much in terms of intelligence
IGotWorms 4,060 Posted October 23, 2015 I don't think trump is getting the nomination. Hell I think he's behind Carson in Iowa now. But I don't know who will. Carson and Fiorina should be dismissed for many reasons. Cruz is a slime ball and a creep. Jeb Bush has struggled from the get-go. Kasich would be a good pick but he's not gaining traction. To me it comes down to Rubio on the right. Who else is there?
NewbieJr 541 Posted October 23, 2015 She'll be twice as prepared with her stock answers, but I don't think either of them has much in terms of intelligence Oh please. A lot of negative can be said about Hillary. But she's an intelligent woman.
Mungwater 597 Posted October 23, 2015 Oh please. A lot of negative can be said about Hillary. But she's an intelligent woman. Not really, would an intelligent person say her, sinbad, and Cheryl crow were under sniper fire? Make up a story that can easily be found as a lie? That isn't the sign of an intelligent woman. She'll be more prepared, but she doesn't come across as very intelligent
