Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted May 16, 2016 To be fair, the best first round QB in the past decade the Browns passed on for another position? Tannehill. So Wilson doesnt count?

Maulers1973 117 Posted May 18, 2016 Browns two playoffs trips since 1994. Browns have finished last in their divison 7 of the last 8 seasons . Browns have a win lost record over the last eight seasons of 37-91 . And they keep passing on drafting a Qb that they could develop into a starter . Why do I keep kicking them , because they are a easy target and the fact is they are a very bad organization. They don't keep passing on QBs. They drafted Brady, Weeden, and McCoy. Then, in 2014 many pundits said they "had" to draft Manziel. I disagreed vehemently. I wanted them to draft Carr or Garropolo, you know guys that can throw with accuracy and run a play that is called. The owner listened to the hype of the media who fell in love with his celebrity. He didn't follow the advice of his scouting department, his GM, his HC or his OC. None of those people wanted anything to do with Manziel. I'd guess it's Haslam's biggest regret as a novice team owner. Hopefully, Hue Jackson who knows a thing or two about QB's can get things going on the right track. I don't care who gets the starting job so long as we see some level of competent play at the position.
