zole2112 5 Posted June 6, 2017 I am in a 14 team league with keepers and standard scoring. I have the second pick of draft positions and I am having a hard time deciding what position to choose to draft in. My keeper is David Johnson for my 3rd round pick. My thoughts range from choosing the 2nd pick and picking either Bell or Elliot, and choosing a little later pick such as 4th and taking a top WR or QB to go with Johnson. At 2nd I will have pick 2/27/30(Johnson)/55/58 or 4th pick 4/25/32(Johnson)/53/60 etc. What would you choose for your draft position under those conditions? Thanks!! weepaws 2,469 Posted June 6, 2017 One question, how come Bell and the Zeke are still available?
Ray_T 594 Posted June 8, 2017 One question, how come Bell and the Zeke are still available? I am speculating that it's one of those leagues where you can only keep a player for a finite amount of time. or if you drafted them in round 3 you give up a second to keep them next year and a first to keep them the year after. and once you get to the point where you drafted them in the first (or gave up a first to keep them) you cannot keep them any longer and they go back into the draft pool. Just speculation on my part. either way, if Bell and Zeke are available, then yes, a top 2 pick is mandatory. I'd probably pick Zeke because he's younger, and I think a slightly lower risk of injury, but you really cant go wrong with either player.

Thats correct, i got Johnson 2 (or was it 3) seasons ago off of waivers, undrafted, anyway i paid a 6th rnd pick last year and now a 3rd rnd pick this year, next year i can't keep him. Both Bell and Zeke were drafted within the first 3 rounds so they cannot be kept. I'm so tempted to choose Rodgers, we get 6 pts per touchdown but I will prolly go with Zeke, unless the #1 picker takes him then it's Bell
cousinal111 57 Posted June 10, 2017 I'd pick 2 I agree. There are a lot of QB's. It's hard to beat a team with DJ & Zeke or DJ & Bell. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=465440&do=findComment&comment=5941283

Pt14reds 0 Posted June 15, 2017 I would draft 2. Week in and week out the difference in points your running backs put up will far out weigh whatever the top receivers do.
Ray_T 594 Posted June 18, 2017 Zeke is your man. could you imagine a team with Zeke (or Bell) and David Johnson? as long as you dont have injuries or completely blow the rest of your draft, you are likely to win this thing. Zeke is a lower risk due to Bells history of getting injured or suspended. At this level, that difference is enough to take Zeke over him. This championship is yours to take. Now go take it.
