Sterling Shephard or Corey Davis ROS? Half PPR

I have Julio, Alshon, Demariyus, and Diggs so not looking for every week starter, but I have an open roster spot for a WR flex option.

 

Both are talked about being second half Sleepers. Thoughts?

Davis for me, his upside is just much higher.

 

I have no confident on Shepard. A declining Manning that targets TE only. Giants as a team that focus on the run. Look no further than Denver, they even give you a WR1 only target like D Thomas, nothing will come about.

 

Target is plus, but it's not the most important factor, case and point Landry. QB quality weight just as much as WR talent, look at Houston.

There has been great hype over Davis but I want to see it first. Nevertheless, Shephard is not a number one WR and will be eaten up. I think he did well because everyone was worrying about Odell and left him alone. That won’t happen.

 

Verdict.....DAVIS but I’m expecting him to get hurt again.

Davis. Shephard is a known slot receiver with limited upside. Davis is an unknown with top 10 pick pedigree. With the guys you have I would swing for the fence.
