huskyhater75 242 Posted September 23, 2018 I can't believe how fantasy experts are saying to not play Rivers against LAR's defense-but WHO exactly has Rams defense "shut down"? Carr and whoever Arizona trots out there doesn't compare with Rivers, plus Rivers gets rid of the ball quick enough to avois the rush. Sometimes you gotta just look and laugh..................... tanatastic 2,061 Posted September 23, 2018 Matchup jumpers and trend monkeys are always chasing the high of looking smart when the poo they fling at the wall happens to stick. Then when it doesnt they say start your studs. Start your best players, use matchups as tiebreakers when you feel two guys are the same.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 23, 2018 I wouldn't be comfortable starting him against the Rams. I can't wait to see him blame his receivers because the Rams D is really good
huskyhater75 242 Posted September 23, 2018 I'm NOT comfortable starting him-but it's better than playing Goff and he throws it 20 times. Also, Rivers isn't really a blame-game kinda guy. Good luck today guys!
kilroy69 994 Posted September 23, 2018 I am scared of playing anyone against the rams. Their D is really good. Their offense with the growth of Goff is good enough to win the Superbowl. Like the Ravens but with a better offense.

Good luck today guys! How is it better than playing Goff? Goff has been pretty damn consistent since last year. I am happily starting Goff every week. He doesn't have the huge attempts like some guys, but he usually throws for 2 TDs. Plus, him and Cooks are getting better every week. Cooks is one of the best receivers in the game. 2 TD per game comes out to 32 TDs for the season. The Chargers have the best offense that the Rams have faced, so they may be forced to throw some more. Add on to that, Goff could have easily had more TDs last week instead of Gurley getting 3.
huskyhater75 242 Posted September 23, 2018 Well, Cooks' performance today depends on if Chargers decide to have Casey Heyward shadow him. But if Rams keep Cooks in the slot all day, that would be the better option for Cooks-avoiding Heyward.
pee-diddy 27 Posted September 23, 2018 With the weapons he has on O, I think Rivers can go 300-3TD today and against any DEF. SD has a very balanced offense, minus a young quick TE of course. Gonna be a fun game to watch.

huskyhater75 242 Posted September 23, 2018 Rivers has had troubles against Wade Phillips defenses in the past, but Rivers has never had the team around him that he has now.

huskyhater75 242 Posted September 23, 2018 Allen has been hurt quite a bit of his career, I think Gordon is okay-maybe you don't, and he has a pretty good o-line. Have a nice day...………………..
