Resign there. Give up land. Give up states. It never ever works. It might make other cities think twice before disparaging, defunding, or in other ways not support those people who try to make their communities safe. It does make surrounding communities safer when cops leave the "woke" cities and land jobs nearby. Pierce County Sheriff dept reported that they've hired several ex-Seattle cops. I'll try and dig up the link. Edit. Here it is: https://mynorthwest.com/2104301/pierce-county-seattle-police-sheriff/ Also helps Sheriff dept save money as they don't need to spend money on academy training for the seasoned officers. Seattle 2020 = Detroit 1974 when all the good cops were fired/rehired in the suburbs -ten years from now- Seattle 2030 = Detroit 1984 likely without the World Series win. It goes downhill fast when your mayor is Coleman Young or Jenny Dirtcan.
