Better Day for DJ MOORE?

Recommended Posts

I need help at WR I think. Full PPR, 3WR, 2RB, 0FLEX Start

(waiting to see if a trade w/another manager gets accepted: Gordon for AJ Brown)

If that does or does not get accepted. Would this be a good try?

Trade:  Gibson or Gordon and Marq. Brown FOR DJ Moore, K. Drake

My RB: Ekeler, Robinson, Mixon, B. Hill, Gordon

My WR: Crowder, Gallup, Jefferson, Gage, Higgins,

I don't like that trade because you're selling too low on Gibson and buying way too high on DJ Moore and Drake.

Right now Gibson's workload and production has steadily increased each game. He had 4/82 on catches last week and Kyle Allen will only help, given how much he threw to CMAC last year.

Drake has struggled in two plum matchups and could lose work to Edmonds as a result.

I'm still hoping for a turnaround for DJ Moore (have him on my roster) and I think there will be big games. But unfortunately he just doesn't have the role he had last year where he was getting a ton of short/intermediate targets and opportunities to run after the catch, which is his strength. Bizarrely Robby Anderson has taken that role, and Moore has become more of a deep threat. Given that's the case right now, there's not an awful lot of difference between Moore and Marqise Brown - they're both relatively boom/bust prospects and you've got to play the matchups on both.
