FlyinHeadlock 459 Posted October 31, 2020 I needed them in Afghanistan but when I got out of my MRAP, always took them off talking to local Afghans. Told my Soldiers the same. Never talk to locals or local officials with sunglasses on. They need to see your eyes. They need to see you care and are a real person that is listening to them. Results were I never lost one US Soldier on my watch. Got hit a few times but nobody died. The locals loved us. We would take up their concerns to higher like wanting a paved road, water well, supplies and we delivered. We listened and tried our best and 95% of the time made it happen if we could. Biden, I see him out there talking to people with aviator sunglasses on. First; he is not an aviator. Second, it's cold and industrial. Whoever told him this was ok is an idiot. People can't see his eyes. He is 100% reading the teleprompter and that is the only reasoning. He may win but this guy does not give a shLt about anyone but him and his family. How much is a canopy for shade. Maybe $2500. Total BS. He does not need those sunglasses. It is a calculated measure so you can't see him struggling to read the teleprompter. Stayed on the best out of them all. Of course, I wasn’t the one having to go into houses and whatnot to clear them since I was a medic so I didn’t have to worry too much about engaging the enemy. Had one first sergeant who tried to say only one style of sunglasses were authorized (can’t remember the kind) but that sh1t got shut down quick.
